Exactly how you remember them...
This arrived early and was the perfect thinking of you gift for my adult son. The best part I think is the eye movement when the coin goes in. Made of sturdy materials. I give this purchase two firemen up!

Vintage Bank. Just like the good old days.
I bought this coin Bank as a gift for my boy. He enjoyed how the mechanics worked on it. He's in his early twenties and I hope it gives him some food for thought.(saving money)

mixed bag
My chief concern with this product was that it wasn't antiqued, like the other two banks I had already bought in this line. Also, the mechanism was so strong that if the coin isn't precisely placed a certain way, it won't shoot the coin into the bank properly. Okay as a children's toy, not so much as an antique remake for home décor. I loved the idea of this bank, but it just wasn't as good as other Design Toscano vintage remake banks.3/11/20--I found a fix for mechanical issue, one that even a moron like me can do. The problem with the coins not going in is primarily because the the spring is too strong, propelling the coin too hard to make the hole. if you open the bottom, remove the spring and rebend the one end so it is a little longer, you cut the spring force a little and the coins seem to go in more reliably.

An adored kitty bank
My young granddaughter loves to feed my old time mechanical kitty bank. She needs to focus on the coin in the dish, because it disappears quickly when the lever is pushed down. She feeds it frequently with great enthusiasm.

Wonderful reproduction mechanical bank
I gave this as an Xmas gift to someone who already had another similar mechanical bank. It was a big hit! Lovely, painted detail and faithfully replicated.
