Quiet on low settings, works with smart plug
Update after one month with daily use:Still like the fan a lot. I had it downstairs in our family room aimed at the couch, and then 1-2 weeks later ended up also using it upstairs in our bedroom aimed at me since it's quieter than the fan I had there. Works great as a bed fan since it's quiet and moves a lot of air. I got tired of moving the fan around everyday, so I bought another one. For the second one, I got the 12" instead of the 14" mainly to see how much quieter it is since there's smaller blades cutting through the air, but also because the 12" fits better in the family room spot. The 14" is quiet, but the 12" is noticeably quieter than the 14" on all settings, and still moves plenty of air for me on the first and second settings, and I still feel the air head to toe while sitting with the fan ~5 feet away.If you move the fan around, be careful that the cord doesn't end up sticking between the grill bars and getting hit by the blades. That happened a couple times. Just keep the cord clear of the grill.Original review:I got this fan to blow on me when I sit on the couch in my family room, particularly after coming in from doing yardwork outside. I wanted something I could turn up on high for a few-several minutes, then turn real low for long periods of time, like while watching tv or reading.I tried a couple different 22" and 24" box fans and a 20" round tilting floor fan that I already had, but all those are too loud and move too much air, and after a while the noise and volume of air movement gets annoying even on low. So I looked for a fan with several speeds, thinking that the lower speeds would be lower than the low settings on my other fans, and this AC Infinity fan achieves that. The first 4-5 speeds are way quieter than the low settings on my other fans. Having this AC Infinity fan on the lowest setting generates a nice gentle breeze that keeps me cool without making much noise. So I can come in from outside, blast the fan for a few minutes, then turn it down for a quiet gentle breeze for an hour or two or more. Since the fan tilts, I've been able to aim it just right for me. With it sitting ~5 feet away on the first setting, I feel gentle air movement all over, head to legs.Having a remote is nice vs. having to get up and down to change the speed. The one button operation is super easy to use. You don't have to press & hold to turn it off. You can also click past the highest setting, which will turn it off.I have the fan plugged into a smart wall plug that's compatible with Apple Home, so I can use my phone or voice to turn the fan on and off. When I use my phone or voice to turn the fan on, it automatically comes on to the last used speed setting, which is great since I usually use the fan on the first setting. Seems like most digital/non-analog fans don't do that. Usually they don't work with smart plugs in terms of turning back on.I can't think of any downsides with the fan. Overall I like it a lot and am very pleased with it. Plus it's from a brand I know and like (I have AC Infinity computer fans from 11-12 years ago, as well as two HVAC duct mufflers). The instructions confused me for a minute though. You need to use a provided USB-C cord to connect the fan motor to the remote control receiver that's on the side of the fan behind the remote control holder. This is covered in the instructions, but the way it was described and pictured, I thought the instructions were saying to optionally connect the fan to the Control 69 UIS panel, which is a separate optional product. But I figured it out within a couple minutes. The AC Infinity fan is priced high relative to some other box fans/floor fans, but this fan is not on the same level as a $30-50 fan. Given the feature set, the higher price is worth it to me, especially since this should last a long time.

Quiet Low-Power Fan that Moves Air
This is a good fan. On the lower speeds it is quiet and still moves a good amount of air. The overall profile/side view, including the stand, is surprisingly thin. It should pack decently, in storage or when traveling. Barely uses any power. Seems good so far!I bought it to trap mosquitos, and I put a large paint strainer on it. A 5-gallon paint strainer is a little small but I managed to get it to stay on the fan. I wanted something quiet and low power that I could run discretely. I will report back after a couple camping trips by the river/lake.

Excellent quality
Really outstanding quality from the build quality to the finish to the 10 speed settings controlled by remote. Whisper quiet on the lowest setting and moves a LOT of air on the highest setting. Glad I didn't settle for a lessor fan. Used to build for a diy shop air filter based on The 3D Handyman YouTube channel.

High quality
Very well made. Virtually silent at low speeds. Quiet at high speeds. Good air volume.

The fan of all fans, only small issue
You won't find another 12" industrial fan that:1. Moves this much air2. Is very quiet at all speeds3. Uses less than 44 watts on high. 15 watts at half-speed which still pushes a ton of air.4. Has intuitive cordless magnetic 12-speed lighted RF remote that can be paired together with their other fans5. Has such an extensive ventilation ecosystem covering many products that are all the highest quality you'll find.Of the two of these I own, one developed a motor whine @ 805hz within the first few uses indoors. If the fan wasn't so quiet at speeds one through nine, it wouldn't be a problem.

Moves A Lot of Air.
The fan is super quiet and produces a lot of air for it's size. I love the fact that it has multiple speed levels and the remote control is compact.

Excellent fan
My main intention for this fan is to use in the garage to help air it out. I like that is not too big nor too small for this purpose, it is just the right size. You should know that this is no ordinary fan: While most fans rely on voltage attenuation to regulate speed, and therefore don't have much on energy consumption. This fan uses PWM (pulse width modulation) to achieve same goal. This is well demonstrated with the 10 levels of speed control and the smooth transition between them versus the typical Low, Medium and High you get with most fans. The speed control is digitally achieved via a single button remote control and its 10 LEDs display. The remote is not rechargeable but rather uses two AA batteries which are also furnished. The remote has a magnetic back and can set to its dedicated slot on the fan or you can attach it to any other ferrous surface you like. The fan itself is all metal and well constructed. it has a solid feel to it and weight just about right to move around without hassle. It plugs directly to an electric outlet and the cord is thick but flexible enough to wrap it around when in storage. The cable is a little shy than 5 feet. The range of speed adjustment is more than one would want but it is good to have if you want finer control. The fan is well balanced and won't make any vibration sound or harmonics. It is pretty silent at level 1, but expect it to increase in sound with increase of speed. This is by no means because of the fan itself but rather because of the air being hit by the blades. Overall I would say this is a quieter fan compared to others.I should mention the fan comes with a nice metallic hook and necessary hardware for temporary mounting on a wall. This a nice and well thought of addition. The fan and its remote also have 3 dip switches preset from factory to pair with each other. But you can change them if you run into interferences from other surrounding wireless devices.Overall, this is a well thought of fan with much attention to details.5 stars

Bad smell.
Used this fan for less than 60 days. Use the fan on setting 5 of 10. Fan started producing a bad odor, similar to hot metal. Fan operates fine and does not seem to have any problems rotating or noise.
