Great product, professional quality
This mic was recommended to me by a seasoned pro who does some video work on the side. This is his choice for a mic that puts out quality and reliable sound. It’s now my preferred choice. I’ve already recommended it to at least two other people. It’s easy to use and setup, plus all parts are super lightweight. The only downside is you must purchase additional adapters/cables to use this in conjunction with an iPhone or to send data to a computer. The USB cables included will ONLY charge the devices, they will not transmit data to a computer.

Very good product
I've used the rode wireless II numerous times since I got it.So far it has worked perfect, with good sound and no audio dropouts when the receiver is not in line of sight of the transmitter. The average distance from transmitter to receiver has been about 20 feet so far.

Sound quality is amazing.
Great quality! I thought it seemed a bit pricey but it really delivered. I definitely recommend these mics. The battery life is good as well and the fact that you can adjust the db so easily is nice.

Work Great!
I've been in the film industry for over 20 years. When I started we exclusively shot on 35mm film. Over the years technology has moved the tools of the craft into the hands of ordinary people. I bought these because I have started to shoot small projects that don't have budgets for crews. These Rode mics worked surprisingly well.

Poor quality - unusable after 1 year of use
When I first purchased the Go Wireless II system it worked very well with no complaints. After 6 months of use, I started having issues with one of the transmiters not connecting to the receiver and randomly shutting itself off. Tried doing a factory reset but that did nothing. Sent it back to Rode for repair and had it returned in a timely manner. They of course had to open it up to service it and now the front cover will not say on. It works buthad to buy a rubber housing to hold it together. Now the reciever won't allow any transmiter to connect to it and randomly shutting off after a minute or two. I did a factory reset on the reciever and did not fix the problem. So I spent $300 on this system for it to work only 12 months. Will not purchase another Rode product.

You have to buy their cable
This could have been a 5 star product, but here we are.If you have an IPhone, this will not work the way you want it to out of the box. You *must* buy their special cable (sold separately, at a ridiculous price) if you want to use with an iPhone. The Rode website says "cable like SC15/SC21" and that's a bold faced lie. I tried 3 other cables (which combined cost less than the SC15) that claim to be certified for MFI use and none of them work. Rode should include all the required cables. They include a ton of unnecessary cables (who needs 3x USB Type C charging cables or 3.5mm cables in 2022?) so they can't really claim to be reducing environmental impact. It's a real shame too, because once you have the *required* cable, the system works amazingly well. Audio is amazing, device range is way more than what I need, battery life is amazing.
