i had looked at these for a while, and when v-day came along, what better than a heart-shaped locket, right? it's gorgeous, not too big and not too small. the catch to hold the locket shut is really secure! the inner compartment is NOT very big, but neither is the pendant, so it's absolutely appropriate...but you CAN open it up al the way. it's perfect for a small love note, a lock of hair, or something like that.it's a SOLID weight, not a lightweight piece. i got the leather cord, planning on putting it on a chain that i already own. the bale is big enough for a fairly heavy-weight chain, which would look totally appropriate with this piece. all in all, i'm glad my husband appreciates my offbeat sense of humor, and that he indulges me with sparklies. two thumbs up, and the sellers give great service, i'd definitely buy from them again.

I love love love this necklace!!! For starters, the necklace is a perfect length of 18 inches, the necklace is a braided design. The pendant itself opens and closes easily with a snap shut mechanism, it is a decent size about the size of a nickel, there is room for maybe one small pill or message. However keep in mind the pendant is not watertight if worn in te shower. All in all a good buy for anyone loving the anatomical heart as this is a great representation.

I bought this necklace for myself because it sat on my Wishlist for years. I regret not doing it sooner, because it's such a versatile piece. It dresses up or down and always looks very beautiful. It's solid, with a heavy chain. Overall, great purchase.

I can't say enough about this charm. It is sturdy and the detail is amazing. I LOVE IT!. Everyone who has seen it around my neck has made comments about it and wants to know where to get one. I did change the leather neckband though, I think it detracts from the gorgeous artistic value of the piece. I had put this item in my "Wish List" box and debated whether I wanted to spend the money or not.....I have no regrets.

I don't know that many people really want an anatomically correct heart for note holder or pill box. But. Our daughter did. It's just what she wanted. She's a med student wanna-be (Soon it will be a reality!). The sterling silver chain is appropriate for the weight of the "heart". The service was excellent. Bought just before Christmas, and still arrived in time.

After surviving a heart attack with 99% blockage, I don’t go anywhere without this now. It holds my nitroglycerin pills. Perfect.

Hello out there, this is a Quality product that far exceeded my expectations. I have congestive heart failure, so if someone finds me passed out, they will know I have a problem with my heart, and can open the locket to find and administer, baby aspirin. Wonderfull product. The chain alone is worth 100.00. Don't hesitate, buy it!

This beautiful sterling silver pendant, is not only a detailed replica of the human heart, it is also a locket. When I demonstrated how to open the locket, my daughter was astounded. She had no idea it was a locket. When she returned to university, where she is pre-med, she told me that all her friends and fellow med students loved it as well.
