Super-convenient; excellent customer service
Before I had the WaterGuru, it was hard to keep my pool balanced, unless I checked it every few days. Now, I can see a nice daily graph, and quickly see if I need to turn the chlorinator up or down, before I run into problems.Accuracy is not perfect, but good enough. I don't think I could do much better with a typical home test kit.I had one of the early units and it ran into a couple of problems. The first problem was that the mesh bag caused flow-too-low issues. Customer support told me to remove the bag and that fixed it. The second problem was that, after about 18 months, my unit failed. Customer support diagnosed it quickly and sent me a replacement unit free of charge.

Simple to use and install
Great product but don’t understand why they don’t sell to Australia.

Total garbage.. and their support will waste weeks of your time...
The product actually does work, when it works. It's supposed to connect every half hour and report temperature. It does not. It does it maybe once a day if you're lucky. It also does not hold a schedule. It won't auto-measure when it's supposed to. If you manually measure, it actually works great and gives you fairly accurate readings. Then it never works again unless you manually connect via BlueTooth and measure again. Measurements will often show a few days old and wrong timestamp - this thing has no sense of time seemingly.Support spent weeks telling me it was my batteries and my WiFi. I have 15 other IOT devices that connect ALL DAY LONG NO PROBLEMS - yet this thing can't connect a few times a day or on a schedule once a day. They said the batteries that came with the unit are just for setup not for actual use, and you need to use Duracell or Energizer, not even Amazon batteries. They are so full of it as they just try to backpedal and waste more of your time hoping you will surpass your Amazon timer to get a return and refund.I am appalled at how support has treated me worse and worse over the weeks. These guys are horrible. Stay away!!

Don't bother buying in Australia
App isn't available in Australia, cannot buy the adaptor ring nor get it shipped to Australia! No point.

Very helpful
Update based on new information:Previously I had thought my unit was inaccurate by comparing to my reagent tester. It turns out my "Poolstyle Deluxe" reagent tet kit is poor quality and the colored plastic windows for comparing pH color are waaay off from the colors they should be. I recently bought a Taylor kit to check and that's how I figured it out. Knowing this, I can see my Water Guru is accurate and has been working reliably for 10 months.Below is my original review:I've been using this in my new pool for a couple of months. Most of the time it reports the measurements automatically at the time I set, though occasionally it seems to not measure and I have to manually trigger to get the data. Initially when I installed this I checked chlorine and pH using my test kit and compared with the numbers measured by Water Guru at the same time, they looked the same or very close. Now just under 2 months later I took a water sample to my local pool supply for testing and they showed my pH was quite high compared to what Water Guru was showing that day. I went home and checked with my test kit and it also showed the Water Guru was way off.Test kit pH measurement: 8.2Water Guru pH measurement: 7.5Now I'll need to keep checking with the test kit to see if I can trust the Water Guru again. I don't know if the cartridge in the Water Guru is close to done and that is a factor, but the app shows I have 24 days left.Be sure to periodically compare your Water Guru results with a trusted measurement to see if it's accurate.
