Great first step into IEMs
I've never used in ear monitoring before so have just bought a Legato MS-1 to try it out. My hearing is at a stage now where once the band starts going for it I just can't hear my guitar in the mix. So, I'm hoping that this will sort that problem out. But then come the actual ear buds and what a minefield that is! Again, I didn't want to spend a fortune only to be disappointed so I read the reviews and thought these sounded reasonable and at less than 20 quid they weren't going to break the bank.To say I was disappointed on first listen was an understatement. They sounded cheap and tinny, yeah, like a lot of ear buds in that price range. I couldn't believe how bad they sounded so I thought I'd better double check whether this was normal with IEMs as opposed to ear buds. One guy gave a list of models and said he found all of them tinny and lacking bass and one of the replies said it sounded more like the guy had a fitting problem than all the IEMs being bad. So, I pushed them quite a bit further into my ears and WOW!They came alive! The better fit brought out all the bass that seemed lacking before and they sound amazing. Exactly how durable they will be being made of plastic, I'll have to wait and see but in my experience with ear buds, the wires generally break quicker than the actual ear piece. These are incredible value for money at less than 17 quid. I've had Sennheisers and Shure ear buds that cost 10X this and had a similar sound quality and yes, when they packed up it was due to the cables breaking.I haven't worn them for a couple of hours on stage yet so I can't comment on the comfort but they seem okay. Overall, I think they are an excellent entry into the world of in ear monitoring and for the money, they're very hard to beat. And, I'd rather have these as a set of cheap earbuds to listen to music with than cheap Sony's anyday!

Not as I had expected really.
I was under the impression that they lit up colourfully not that I would see that wearing them. They are a bit on the Bulky side so don't fit snug in ears. The cord they are on is brilliant I've never had one as good as they always get into a tangle even when it's said tangle proof.I wouldn't have bought them had I known how Bulky they were goin to be tbh, that said the sound is good enough for my use, I only listen to books on audible so I can't give a reading on music listening sorry.

Awful. Please avoid.
I bought these because everyone was hyping them up saying theyre the new best budget iems and such. But when i put it on, no joke, i took them out my ear within 20 seconds to go return it. They sound awful. The treble is so deafening it made me wanna rip them out my ear in a second. the only way to get around this is to lower the overall volume but that weakens the 'ok' bass and weakens the already weak mids. I tested it with a song with female vocals and due to their high pitch and the overemphasis on treble, it made me feel like im going insane and made my eardrums hurt. I didnt even test it on a song with male vocals because they are just such awful iems that i didnt even wanna wear them to test it. Thats how bad these are. What also made my ears hurt were the iems themselves. Theyre super uncomfortable. they hurt my ears alot in the 20 seconds that i had them in. Even now while i write this review like 5 mins later theres still a lingering pain in my ear. Also, when i tested this there was a hissing noise for some reason even when nothing was playing. And just like the vocals, i didnt test it on any other device because i just didnt wanna wear them anymore due to how bad they are. The free earpods that used to come with iphones plus a cheap pair of rubber ear buds attached to it for grip, sound wayyyy better. Much better bass, no deafening treble, and audible mids. Plus its miles more comfortable. The only thing that i found better with these iems was that they had a bit better clarity and separation and passive noise reduction. But who cares about how good its clarity is when it makes you wanna rip em out your ear the moment you wear them. I tested both the kz edx pro and cca cra (both are the same iem by the same company just slightly different turning) and both were equally awful. Just steer clear from any KZ/CCA product unless you want to torture your eardrums.

Okay
They are pretty mid, spend the extra on the ones with the balanced armature. These are still fun for the money tho.
