I bought them to give more light to my Christmas village. They work. Giving light and fitting g into the park theme. They were hard to keep standing because the base is unstable. Had to add a cardboard circle to make them work. I also think the wires could be longer to give a little more versatility

The cords are not long at all. Every set of street lamps I bought in the past connected light to light, these ones all connect in a triangular fashion directly to the battery box, so you cannot set the lights in a straight line. Furthermore the color is not as pictured. I thought the lights would have a nice yellow color and they appear more white. They look nice but they feel cheap and don’t stand up very well. I’d return but it’s not worth it.

Really great product. Lamp illumination is perfect, not too bright and certainly not dim.

Updated review:I ordered a replacement and it is 100% fine. 5 stars for the replacement. No wires glued/melted together like the first one. No stripped wires with exposed copper wire like the first one. So, to balance it out, I'm upping my review to three stars. 1 star for the original one plus 5 stars for the replacement one, divide by 2 to average it out to 3 stars.Original review:I was untangling the wires when I noticed that three of the wires were either glued or melted together. Then I noticed that the insulation on one of the wires was stripped back exposing the inner copper wires. If the two copper wires touched, that's a short circuit resulting in a high current flow through a low resistance connection (the short circuit) which would result in high heat and possibly a fire if the wires were touching flammable material.Some of you are probably saying "but it runs on batteries so there wouldn't be a problem". Well, a AA battery can provide a very high current for a short time and it only takes a second or two for a fire to start from the short.So check the wires carefully before using these lights.On the upside, the LEDs have a nice warm-white glow like an incandescent light.

1st unit had a non-working light but replacement unit works like it should.
