Does what is required. It gives height so the veggies can grow underneath the frame whilst giving protection from wildlife and the other is used for a fleece to protect seedlings from the snow and frost … what’s not to like!!

I am using more and more hoops each year. Mostly to support shade cloth. Our Springs are cold and then they flip right into the 80's-90's ... I need a strategy for all of the cool season crops and shade cloth is it. I included a few pictures:- I'm using 3 hoops in the red raised bed - that bed is 24" wide and 4' long - I've got netting on that one to protect the carrots in there.- I'm using I'm using 4 hoops in the white raised bed - that bed is 24" wide and 8' long - I've got shade cloth on that one to keep the lettuce cooler in there and also for protection.The protection part is from insects, rabbits, and deer. The deer think that my raised beds are feeding stations just for them, so that they don't have to bend down as far! ;-)I like that these hoops are one piece - nothing to come apart or break at a joint. The plastic coated metal should make these rust free.I am using these when I set out plants, so I don't need anything very high or wide. As the plants get larger, I remove these and go with a larger set and a larger piece of shade cloth. I am also using these for lettuce, arugula, carrots, etc. in 24" wide raised beds.If you need something bigger, these are not for you! ;-) But if you are looking for something this size, you can't go wrong.
