I was unsure how good this little fire might be, but I took a chance based on other reviews and I ordered it. What a superb little fire it has turned out to be. Looks classy, stylish and cosy, especially when the flame effect is switched on. In my opinion this fire looks worth more than the price I paid for it. It is very fast to heat up and the heat output is impressive. Recommend.

I have just had central heating for the first time I am accustom to an open fire and wanted something warm and cosy in the center of the room to replace my open fire. Due to health reasons I can no longer manage my open fire. This was an excellent substitute and my home feely as homely as ever with this electric wood burner

I bought this one after reading all the positive reviews, I bought solely for decoration and I haven’t plugged it in or put the legs on and don’t intend to as this is how I wanted it, it’s lovely and smart looking and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family or friends.

This is a great little stove and other comments regarding how 'plastic' it looks I think depends on the colour you choose. I have two, 1 in black and 1 in dark blue and to me they look pretty realistic. I am very happy with them.

This is a nice little fire, it is quite lightweight though and not made out of cast iron as stated, its plastic but still looks nice.. It is also a little bit noisy, not enough so you can't hear the TV but you know when it's on, but saying that once you get to your chosen temperature you can use the thermostat control, and it just clicks on every now and then with a blast of hot air. The heat output is very good. You can also have just the flame effect on which has adjustable brightness which gives a lovely warm glow. All in all a good little fire and I'm pleased with it
