This is a great improvement for my office desk.The tower has a general on/off button on the top (so very easy to reach), USB outlets and 8 way plugs, which is fab.However, I have two monitors and my computer hooked up to it, as well as some other things, and the tower might me a little too light for the strong cables.Its own cable already pulls it in directions that one might not want, and hooking up the monitors and the computer, gives it an unwanted stiffness which makes it less "easy" to use, and made it topple over (because of the stiffness of the thick cables from the appliances and its own).Also, what I didn't think of: When you have bigger plugs, such as on lamps or fairy lights, they interfere with each other in terms of size, so you really need to work out how to best plug in everything (like a puzzle)Maybe the tower could be improved by having a metal socket (something heavy) to keep it in place?I've now used good old blue tack, but that's not a great solution as it gnaws away on the coating of my table over time.Anyhow - despite that it's a great device and I would recommend using it! (Especially when you are less prone to OCD, you will be very happy with this)

As most people have been I have worked from home since the beginning of the pandemic, I have set up a proper home office which required a multi extension lead which i had and it worked great, however accessing it to turn the power off on an evening was a right old faff and I am no contortionist.Also due to other devices I use I was constantly changing plugs and cables that required a USB connection a right old faff.I then found this beauty of a device, 4 USB connections on the front and 8 plugs and a handy switch on the top to turn it off in its entirety! absolute perfection exactly what I needed! No more climbing trying to turn everything off at the wall and no more messing about with a bundle of wires constantly being changed in and out.It is very well made and I have had no issues with it at all and would buy another in a heartbeat.I hope you have found my review helpfulThanksShaun

I bought this extension cable to be able to use it when I'm drawing at my table. I like it for how moveable it is without being too bulky and the fact that it has an independant on/off switch so I can easily switch it off on the unit and not have to switch it off at the main wall socket. I also like the fact that it has 3 usb ports for plugging in extra gadgets aswell as the 8 mains plug sockets.For a small unit (it is 15.5cm tall and the base is a 10cms square block) it stands really firmly on my table and the little rubber gromet feet means that it doesn't slide around.

Really good adaptor cable was right length and tower is quite compact, it’s easy to use looks really tidy

This has freed up so much space with extension cords and chargers. The usb ports at the base are great and well placed. Surge control and never overheats. Safe yet stylish option.
