Cleaning was a problem but the rest made it a wonderful tool.

Great for bananas not peppers. My husband thought it would be a good idea to try and cut jalapeño peppers into our salad. Great idea in a food fight, lol, peppers flew in every direction. We’ll stick to using it for bananas. Looking forward to making another banana pudding.

This was an impulse buy after seeing a similar version used at Everbowl. Shipping was timely; however, the device is actually cumbersome to clean. I have also noticed rusting after only a couple washes by hand.The cumbersome cleaning helped the novelty wear off quickly; and, we're back to slicing our bananas the old fashioned way.

I LOVED this for a year & 1/2. Then it broke. I used it once a month or so. Such a shame it’s not made of more durable parts. The plastic bits broke that were holing in the spring mechanism inside the handle. I’m so sad. :-(I’m tempted to tray another one.

I wonder how many steps this took to get into production... even if one person used this product a single time, they would see how corroded & disgusting this thing gets. You literally have to brush it in every angle to clean it after using it, otherwise you will not want to use it again. Also, its not dishwasher safe, that just makes it worse cause the metal is cheap but again, there is no need for metal here, it should be plastic. The irony is that it works flawlessly otherwise, which is why I don't get how it made its way all the way to Amazon without a single person from invention to production saying hmm, this will prob be great in plastic!Blah - its the lil things that get to me

The media could not be loaded.  So I bought six so I didn’t have to pay shipping and I will be keeping 2 of Banana cutters. One day if want to make peanut butter & banana and on same day wanna cut up hotdogs that day have another one if the other ones already used.Save time if your cooking for 2 or even many.

Great concept. Saw these in use at a local juice bar and acai bowl place. Slices a banana into nice, even slices in a couple of seconds. However, I tried operating these over the black glass cover of my stove when I first opened the box and found that the blades were shaving off minuscule pieces of yellow plastic each time. Not being a fan of plastic in my food, I will be returning these.

There's a meme going around about how this is what you get your boyfriend when he cheats on you. Bought it for my BF as a gag gift bc he said he hated the meme so much bc it's painful to look at/think about. He said this gift gives him nightmares lol. Good as a gag gift, never used it as an actual banana slicer though!
