easy to assemble, looks nice and I'm sure it will look nice on any brown or black desk regardless if the color isn't the exact same. easy to assemble, holds a lot of stuff without looking junky, sits in the corner of the desk and is very useful and only takes up a small amount of space and makes my desk look nicer and more professional. I actually got a few compliments on it.

It's hard to find good, sturdy items that seem they'll stand the test of time. I believe this is one of those items. It is beautiful and sturdy. I wish there were more items like this. I get sick of replacing things I bought 1 or 3 years ago when it is completely possible (and better for the environment and our mind) for things to be made to last.Thank you to the creators for making this product!

I undertook a search for a vintage or antique, classy, functional inbox/outbox type desk accessory for myself, and found that any combination of searches on eBay, Etsy, etc were seriously lacking. Did old school executive types not have classy inboxes? I finally settled on this one, despite my general malaise toward far-east particle board... but you know what? they had essentially what I was looking for. The end result is a good looking, functional organizer. One screw hole was pretty far off, but I was able to make it work. I can definitely see how some of these are hit-and-miss, but I played the odds and won on the first try. No regrets, would recommend.

I absolutely love this product. There's always that concern ordering online, that the product won't live up to the lovely photos. This did not disappoint! Definitely looking forward to purchasing more of these in the future, and seeing what else there is to purchase. Thank you so much for these beautiful paper organizers.

Update: the company responded and quickly offered to make it right. They sent a replacement for my defective set. Thank you so much, I will purchase from this seller again!This looks great in theory, one of my metal frames has missing paint, and one shelf had the revits, or eyelets for the screws put on backwards. This means a can't get the wood in to build the last shelf. It was not a cheap set, it would have looked great if it wasn't damaged. There is no customer service number unfortunately, I couldn't find an email either.

This set is overall a decent pick if you want a desk organizer on a budget. For $30, you get what the pictures show, more or less: two little stackable trays, and a pen holder. I accidentally bought two sets, thinking that each tray was sold separately, so now I have four stackable little trays. Incidentally, this gave me some better insight into the average build quality you'll find for the product.The wood is particle board, as described, and reasonably sturdy. I am not positive that I would use this to store anything that heavy, but it works fine for putting papers and other desk knick-knacks away. It also looks good, especially on a wooden desk. The iron bars are probably the sturdiest and most well made part of it, so I have no issues there.However, the drilling in the actual wood for the screw holes is quite sloppy, and completely inconsistent between the two sets. I had quite a tough time screwing the iron frames in, as the screw holes never quite fully matched up with provided holes on the iron bars. On the second set, I also noticed that they were not drilled in straight, which made lining them up with the iron bars even more difficult. Further, I had a difficult time attempting to get the screws fastened all the way. It took quite a lot of force to get screw them in, and even then I could not get them in all the way. Again, it was much worse on the second set, where I had to resort to using a hammer to get the screws in all the way.Overall, you get what you pay for. For $30, some build issues are almost expected, and once I got it all together, I will say it looks nice on my desk and does the job of holding papers perfectly (which, again, does not require all that much sturdiness).

Capacity is pretty standard on these, but everything else is FAR superior to plastic trays. They are heavy, so that if I bump them while sliding something in they often don't shift at all, unlike the plastic trays that were always sliding all over or popping apart. They look great, which matters to me since my desk is in the living room. I have four stacked together. Because of how my desk is organized, I was only able to use one of the pen baskets, but that one is perfect for my hand-held stapler and letter opener. The bases are obviously veneer over a solid piece, but they look good. Solid wood would be ideal, but this is a huge step up from plastic without going crazy with the price.

This thing is such a time saver. It's beautiful, sized right and I like the pen organizer on the side. I use the top shelf to hold my purse and the bottom shelf for things I need to take with me the next time I leave the house. It's made such a difference in my life in terms of being able to get out the door on time. Organize in advance. Grab and go!

This was exactly as described! Looks classy but functional!!

Each set comes flat packed. Screws and a screwdriver are supplied in the kit.Also comes with 8 foam pads for the underside of the bottom shelf.I ordered 2 units. Put them together as single units and stacked them afterwards. They stack easily.Once assembled they are pretty robust/solid.Tip: Do not over-tighten the screws when installing the shelves or you might strip the wood they screw into. There is no need to do so as the shelves sit on small welded brackets.Note: The bottom shelf has an extra screw hole to the rear. (5 holes in total)All other shelves have 4 screw holes.
