Our kids got to use these for the first time to roll out cookie dough. Good size and fun colors for kids. We tossed them in the sink for washing afterwards and found that the water was collected and filled up inside the color roller through the flaps on either side. We let all the water out but the residual moisture completely and very quickly rusted the metal rod inside. This is NOT safe for food and a real pain for washing

Awesome! My daughter loves these. I got them because the Play-Doh was sticking to our wooden rolling pins. These are perfect.

These arrived promptly. They are a nice size for children, they roll nicely, and the wooden handles are smooth feeling. BUT they smell terrible, so very chemically that I do not want my toddler to touch them and was even wondering if they are silicon after all (why do they smell so BAD?). I will be returning them. If not for the smell and my resulting doubts about toxicity I would have been happy to use these with my son.

Loved these, I bought 3 packs(6 pins) for a cookie baking day with 6 kids under 5 years old, we had a blast and these actually rolled the dough. Now that we’re done my son is using it for playdough so double win!

I purchased 2 sets of these small silicone rolling pins to use with clay projects and grandchildren because they are advertised as having “a Non-stick Surface”; and great for kids, "length is 9 inch and suitable for children to use." However, I have found them not to be very user or project friendly.Natural air-dry clay sticks to the surface of these pins, while polymer clay fares better. For natural air-dry clay, my old 10.5” (width of rolling pin, minus handles) wooden rolling pin provides an adequate non-stick surface, and my 12” hollow plastic dowel rods provide the best “non-stick surface” for rollouts.Most importantly, the actual roller surface of these small silicon rolling pins is only 3.75” and too short. These rolling pins are 9 inches from tip to tip, but the rolling surface is only 3.75 inches wide, and 7 inches around. I tried rolling out a small piece of clay, and found that because of the rolling pin’s short width, it leaves lines in the clay as I roll. See picture.These short rolling pins are not suitable for small, or large rollout projects. Clay adheres to the rolling surface; and when rolling out clay, the rolling pin leaves lines on the clay. I cannot recommend buying these pins for any project that needs a smooth surface.I found that my old wooden rolling pin (18” tip to tip; 10.5” wide rolling surface; 7” circumference) provides a better rollout than these tiny silicone rolling pins. Also, my 12” hollow plastic dowel provides a cleaner rollout job than these tiny rolling pins; although the dowels do not provide a large enough surface area, at only 2.5” around.

Very disappointed. Opened them to use and one roller is separated from its end cap. Not going to be able to use for Xmas cookies. No way to get it clean (2 year old already got crumbs in the gap and I can’t get them out)

So these worked out great! For Christmas this year I made all the kids personalized aprons, and then we had a Pizza party, so they could make their own pizza. I got these mini rolling pins for the little ones and they loved them and the party was a huge success..

Perfect rollers for a travel trailer or RV. Also nice compact size if have minimal counter space or storage. Work nicely.
