Perfect product for long distance WiFi
Easy to install. This unit is hardwired to the router and can be placed far across the home. I can then be extended further with any other wireless extender. Customer service is the bomb!

Don't believe the Hype!
Dang American Made? Not proud of it. I bought this to extend range. I wasn't getting a strong signal from my Linksys AE7300 from were I sit. So I bought this. I ran a speed test at got 75/81. Then connected to my weaker Linksys Wifi and did another speed test. It was 114/110. The main reason I bought this was for the range. Well that to is not good. Using a WiFi signal meter I checked the strength of the signal. Not impressed at all! Strong at 25 feet. starts to drop off at 30. (And it's not steady! I'll have a -50dBm from 30 to 75 feet, but it will bounce down -80dBm or more, even kick me off) No signal at 100 feet!!?! 10,000 sq. feet?? Are you kidding me? Where this router dropped me, I can still connect to my Linksys that's an additional 60 feet in the other direction. So why do I need this? I don't, going to return it ASAP.

worked well but died after 15 monthsIt gave a strong signal very happy untill it died.

Beware of getting hacked!
Buyer Beware! I plugged this in and it went to a fraud website that appeared to be Amped Wirless. I'm afraid my network has now been compromised. Amped Wireless support took no responsibility and tried to downplay the situation. I have changed my internet password as well as called my internet provider to notify them of the situation. Amped Wireless support told me that I am not the only one with this complaint. This is very serious.They need to provide WARNING messages in their documentation if they are having issues. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. DANGER!

I recommend the Amped Artemis-AP
I was using a cheap Linksys access point. After purchasing a security camera I needed an access point with more range so made this purchase. I am technically competent but usually have a bit of problem when dealing with my network stuff. This access point installed beautifully. No problem at all...very easy. And measuring my signal with a wi-fi app on my smartphone I've got a 25 db improvement. I'm very pleasedTwo days later: I use two wireless printers. Both of them (one Epson, one HP) were both kind of "wonky" regarding waking up to print. Both printers now are behaving properly. Nice.
