My initial application is at the bottom of stairs and on first floor landing, but I like these so much that I'm already thinking of getting more to put in other places 🤔(A few years ago I had the loft space boarded over and the contractor, who was supposed to wire up a light in there, messed up, so the mains powered light on the landing ceiling hasn't worked ever since.I don't want to have to lift the boarding for access to wiring and/or pay an electrician loads of money!)I selected these based on:1) Powered by AA batteries (longer 'life' versus the smaller AAA size), including rechargeable type.2) 'Cool white' output (my preference for function, based on experience, versus 'warm' white)3) Motion activated ONLY when 'dark', with automatic 'off' after 20 seconds (maximises battery life)(I've previously had other wireless remote controlled and 'push' type, 3x AA battery powered, led lights, but those are too easy to forgetfully leave on, such that the batteries quickly go flat.)Both the physical size (innocuous against white background) and 'brightness'/illumination are perfect for me.The Included instruction leaflet with pictures says it all.Not the 'cheapest' available per unit, but, for me at least, very good value for money and one of my better buys👍One thing I would like the product to have is a countersink screw hole in the back cover/mount, which would enable secure fixing to a non-'smooth' surface, for example to a (sheltered from weather porch area) external wall.In the meantime, I might try a 'diy' (modification) for that. 🤞🙄

Works well it is Inside the coat cupboard and is a great little light it turns on when you open the door and off when you close it. Great job!

Great wee lights for my pantry that doesn't have light.Turn on in the evening when its dark and the door is opened. Turns off quickly when door closed.Takes 3 x AAA batteries.sicky pack is very secure so get in place first go.

They are really beautiful little lights (little in size but great illumination). Not dazzling white light more of an ethereal pearl. I love that they are motion detectors so switch on and off without having to do any clunky on/off pop-o-matics like the cheaper versions. I have bought 2 sets as I used 5 in my kitchen. Easy to put up, just insert 3 AAA then peel and stick onto a dry flat surface.

i use these lights too stick on dressing table , they are really bright exact as the picture above. When the lights detect movement they turn on and turn off after a few seconds. they only come on if the room is dark but if you are using them like me i will keep my light off and stand in front of the motion lights for them to turn on and then once u turn the light off the motion lights will stay on until you move away. they are a great value for money ‘

Eat up batteries

These are great - easy to set up & a bit larger than I thought they were - which was ideal for me. Great for the price too.Now my household can easily go to the toilet during the night, without the worry of waking themselves up fully by having to switch a light on!
