PumpSpy Silent Sewage or Sump Pump Check Valve - 2 Inch

This is an excellent upgrade to basic check valves. It is almost entirely silent and prevents the loud thunk you get with regular or simple check valves. It's a premium high quality product that seems very durable for long term use. Installation was incredibly easy and simple with everything you might need.

We have lived with loud sump pump and water hammer for almost three years. When installing a backup for my groundwater system I decided to put this on our sewage pump. We have a teenager downstairs and our sewage pump goes off frequently. It is right under our master bedroom and it thuds through the entire house several times a day. When I put this on I noticed an immediate difference with no water hammer. Honestly when your not right in front of it you can barely tell the sump pump is running. The see through is kind of cool as well. It works.Installation was easy. I just removed the old compression check valve system and put this in. There was no pipe cutting involved with ours, but if you do the way this one is built makes it easy to put on each end of the pipe.So far we have had no issues and as said it is quiet. That is what we were after.

Super quiet compared to my old setup. Recommended upgrade for any samp pump system.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but am over the moon with how well this product worked. My previous check valve on my sewage ejector would rattle the whole house with the water hammer when it shut. I was hoping this would be a marginal improvement, but boy was I shocked the first time it ran. Absolutely silent. This has performed above my expectations. Installed in a vertical application as seen in photo. Give it a try if you have the same water hammer issues I was having.

This was easy to install and works well with a good tight seal. I tested it to see if the seal leaked prior to installation and had no water loss for the 2 days I left it sit full. I like that I can see through the sides to be able to view if I'm getting proper water output from my pump. This effectively holds the backflow from reentering down into the basin and therfore greatly lessening the strain on the pump.
