Does the job
Good, solid sturdy bookends but not heavy or bulky. Will easily hold a row of hardcover books, also like the fact that they are higher than most bookends which helps keep the books upright. Would buy again.

Not as durable for really heavy books,but very cute. Giftable. Perfectly ok for regular books like kids books, soft cover books and magazines

They're surprisingly strong and sturdy. I was really skeptical & honestly bought them for the cat shape. They actually work really well, they hold up my nursing textbooks and that's pretty impressive
