Worked when others failed.
In my Q.C. lab days, I had a partner who would periodically measure, with a precision optical comparator, tooling for machining threads. He had gauge wires to check the pitch, and go-no go gauges for quick checks. I really wish they used the same exacting standards routinely in Asian manufacturing. I have had more sloppy parts, with off-spec. threads since the East dominated the manufacturing of many commodity fittings. I actually got parts with an apology note enclosed, that said, to use lots of PTFE tape to make a good seal. I ran out of S.W.A.K. anaerobic sealant, which was my usual salvation for loose threads. A new supply of that is very pricey. PTFE tape failed, Hardware store pipe sealant failed. So I tried this. It is a lot like S.W.A.K. sealant. I let it setup for a full four hours. I re-pressurized the system, and thankfully, no leaks. I like the way it goes on as a thick fluid.

Perfect for projects
Dries quickly enough, and not messy. Good value for the amount you get as you just mainly dab some on the threads.

Bang for the Buck
I was in need of a thread sealer for my 1993 F-150 rear differential filler plug. I had never used any kind of thread sealer before, but this stuff is pretty impressive. It's obviously easy to use and works very well. I'll be using it going forward.

Works awsome
Used this to fix a leaking coolant temp sensor. It was leaking at the threads I removed it applied this and out it back and hasn't leaked since that was 5 months ago. Would definitely recommend.

good product
It is easy to use, it works, it is suitable for amateur and professional use, it achieves its purpose, just make sure the area you use it on is clean, there should be no oil or dirt, apply it only to two very clean metals, if the surface is oily and dirty, it will definitely not work, this information is for amateurs, professional friends already know, good luck

Great product, great price
Very good price compared to local parts stores. Got it in two days. Bought it before, took years to use it up, and worked great every time. Permatex makes great products, so it is a no-brainer.

This stuff rocks!
Ive tried so many different thread sealants over the past 20 years. Most of them suck. This is my go to thread sealant. I use this for everything automotive and will always prefer this over any other produce.Put a small amount on the first row of threads. Screw it down. Down. No stress or anxiety of a leaking fitting ever! Throw your teflon tape away. That stuff is garbage compared to the sealant.

Sealed my coolant leak
Used Teflon tape previously on my coolant filter line on 7.3L diesel and it leaked, cleaned connection and used permatex high temp and leak is fixed! Great product.
