US adaptor for the Drinkwell water fountain

I have a drinkwell platinum. Mine still works but it on flows at a trickle. Whats wrong with it?

1) I would make sure the flow control handle is all the way to the right for maximum flow. 2) I would clean the strainer in front of the pump inlet. 3) I would disassemble and clean the pump to make sure the pump inlet is clean from cat hair and other dirty particles. If the flow is still a trickle, there could be something wrong with the pump itself, in which case it needs replacement. Go on Amazon and go to the area they sell the Drinkwell Platinum. You can find the number of replacement parts, where the sell it on their site. I needed the pump for the Drinkwell, and they had it. That is what I needed. Bough it, replaced the bad pump, and it is still working. This was a couple of months ago. Hope I was able to help.
