A Visual Dictionary of Architecture

I'm writing a book and I learned early on I know absolutely nothing about architecture. This book has been insanely helpful for the things I can imagine and can't name off the top of my head. It has a ton of information in it, more than I need but I had fun just reading through it when I first got it to see everything it had to offer. Highly recommend as a good reference book.

Great book

This is a very very helpful guide to construction and architecture terms.

Plenty of diagrams illustrate nearly any term in architecture and construction. Explains everything from HVAC to testing ready-mix. Should be required text in tech schools and apprentice programs.

My drafting teacher at college recommended me this book and it is really excellent, very useful and complete. It is a must for any interior design or architecture student. The item I ordered came with a torn page (the upper corner was missing) and I contacted the seller immediately and told him about the problem. He apologized and give me a credit for 1/2 the price of the book, so he solved the issue. I am very satisfied and would order from him again.

Very good price and very prompt delivery. Needed this (and other books) for test prep. C ame earlier than anticpated and gave me a little more lead time. Very pleased. Could have been packaged better. Box was sad but books (fortunately) were okay.

J'ai acheté le livre en ebook, j'ai ainsi pu le feuilleter et voir qu'il avait l'air vraiment bien ! Mais la qualité sur Kindle app ou tablette Kindle (celle de base) est horrible ! Je n'ai pu avoir qu'une idée des illustrations et du contenu, mais le texte est illisible. Le livre entier est composé d'image comme si c'était des scans ou pire des photocopies mal faites. Fuyez la version ebook ! Achetez le livre directement. C'est pas le même budget mais vous serez gagnant dans l'affaire.

Poor quality graphics make it impossible to read.

Esta escrito totalmente en Ingles , por lo que si no tienes nociones de Arquitectura, o Construcción no es fácil següirle el hilo. Pero si lo que buscas es empezar a desenvolverte en ese idioma lo recomiendo, sobre todo a estudiantes de Arquitectura , Buenos Dibujos .
