DPS 5HP MY-PS-5 Used for 3HP(2.2kW) 9A Motor, Single to 3 Phase Converter, 1 DPS Must Be Used for 1 Motor Only, Input/Output 200-240V, UL Listed

Used on a 3 phase Hobart meat grinder. It works perfectly! Just be sure that you match it to your motors specs. I had zero experience in doing this, just a basic knowledge in electrical wiring. I still dont completely understand 3 phase power.

Blown 3 within 6 months. Converter and the motor were within specification needed. Contacted the company if there was warranty and they kept ignoring or asking random questions and never got back to me. Definitely don’t recommend junk. Works for a little but wouldn’t recommend for a long time

Runs my 3 hp powermatic table saw great. wiring instructions were pretty straight forward. works good!

Works great on my 2hp Bridgeport mill. Tried the PS-3 for the 2hp and it did not work so had to go 1hp up in size.

Used on a 4 foot 3-phase press brake. Runs great, has full power.

I hooked up this device to convert the 220V in my garage to 3 phase and power up my geared head lathe. The result was very disappointing also after checked the Amp rating and selected the right dps for my machine it seems like it was struggling to start the lathe. The lathe motor made a loud growling noise and it didn’t run at full speed. However it started. I am giving this product a second chance and I seriously don’t know how accurate is the output in therms of Amps and Voltage. So to power up a 3 HP lathe I will try with the MY PS 7.5 and see what happens. The lights on the lathe were very dimmed with my ps 5 so this thing was just a waste of time for now.

Worked for my 3hp table saw for 2yrs. I suspect if I had switched off breaker in between uses that it may have lasted longer. I bought another and will power down between uses.

Seems to work just fine, easy to hookup.
