The Watercolour Sourcebook: 60 inspiring pictures to transfer and paint with full-size outlines (What to Paint)

I brought this book thinking it would be a good book to progress with.I loved the fact there were outlines to follow or trace.The images in the book beautiful and there is a great selection of images to choose from.The instructions I'd hoped for were not there. Rather there are hints such as "the snow on the treetops were masked using kitchen paper soaked with masking fluid then dabbed on" this type of hint is great for the more experienced painter.keeping the book for when I'm ready to move forward

Another Search Press Book. I’m a sucker for art tuition books and this is one of my favourites. It’s really thick and has input and tips and tuition from multiple artists, all on high wuskuty paper with great painting and leads ti good results.

Not quite what I was looking for. .. no step by step instructions but nice pictures to paint.

This is great for inspiration but the plain images are not on watercolour paper meaning you need to draw or trace the outline freehand. Otherwise great little book.

I was impressed with the variety and standard of the pictures to be copied. I've spent quite a few weeks going over it.

Waa hoping to use this to help some of my students . There were too many finished pieces without showing the stages of painting.

Another great release - this book has given me the renewed interest to try painting subjects other than landscapes, many different flowers, woods, cottages, landscapes. So many to choose from, with sketches in the back of the book to get you started and advice at the front of the book. You can even merge two pictures so that you have different flowers in one picture. I’ve regained my interest in painting, have purchased new paintbrushes, I’m going to try in both watercolour and acrylic paints, even my mum and sister have read with interest and want to give it a go. I’d recommend this book as it offers great pictures and advice. Search Press have excelled again in releasing a great book.
