Game changer for my tendonitis stricken elbows.
Love this bar. I replaced the flared drops on my light touring bike with these, and wow, i love it. It gives me a ton of grip positions, so when my elbows ache i can get more upright to take weight off. In the wind i can get "aero" by resting my forearms on the near side of the bar and hold the hoods from my drop bar levers (yes, they fit at the curves, but i had to shim them) and get into a halfbaked time trial position that has me in about the same body position as being in the drops. I highly recommend them if you're having comfort issues with your drop bars.

Quality is better than I was expecting for the price.
I would buy this again. Good value and provides the comfort I was looking for when I’m cycle touring

You're going to need a longer stem.
Since there are relatively few options for trekking/butterfly bars, and fewer for a 31.8 mm stem, I decided to try this one. The issue with this bar is that the forward sweep from the stem attachment is not very aggressive. as a result, it's a full 120 mm from the stem attachment back to the primary riding position (measured center to center). As a result you're likely going to want a longer stem. And if I need to get a longer stem anyway, I may as well get a stem with a 25.4 mm clamp and a (more common/less expensive) 25.4 mm attachment butterfly bar.The Good:- Looks to be well made.- Relatively little flex- 31.8 mm center for mountain/hybrid bike stemsThe Bad:- Plan on at least a 120mm stem; on most bikes this means buying one.The Meh:- Relatively little forward sweep from the stem attachment point when compared to other butterfly bars.- Primary position is much closer to the rider.- Forward position is

Decent but not perfect
Seems to be decent overall, but there are a few issues.First off, mine had a small hole (about 1/8” in diameter) drilled on one side. Not sure if that is meant to be there or not, but I would prefer that the strength not be compromised at all.Speaking of strength, it seems decent overall. There is a little bit of flex but I don’t think it is a concern. The design is a bit wrong for my bike, in that the center (which attaches to the stem) is about 2/3 of the way toward the front. This means that the entire handlebar is a bit too far back, even with a 110mm stem. I am going to be looking for a 140 or 150mm one, but those are pretty hard to find. After trying a lot of positions I ended up putting the brakes / shifters a couple inches in from the ends. I would have preferred them on the sides, but I couldn’t get them to fit there. As far as comfort, it is pretty good. All the different hand positions give lots of variety and seem to help with hand and wrist pain. I like that the ends slope inward, rather than straight on some of the other models on Amazon.I have yet to put handlebar wrap on, as I am finalizing the brake / shifter positions, but I’m looking forward to getting it all finished.
