J'étais en possession de deux amplificateurs Arylic A50 qui me donnaient et me donnet toujours entière satisfaction. Dans le but de compléter mon équipement, j'ai décidé d'ajouter la version S50 pro plus à mes amplificateurs SMSL AD18 et Sabaj A3. Dès l'installation, l'appareil a accumulé les problèmes. Le premier problème, bien visible, était que la télécommande ne fonctionnait pas. Cependant, si j'utilisais celle de mon autre Arylic, elle fonctionnait parfaitement. J'ai évidemment pris la précaution de vérifier les piles avant de mettre la télécommande en cause. Le deuxième problème, plus insidieux, était l'absence d'affichage sur l'écran OLED censé se trouver sur la façade de l'appareil. J'ai beau scruter, effectuer un reset, remettre les paramètres d'usine, l'écran reste désespérément noir. Je me demande même, en inspectant l'écran, si cette option est réellement installée. Pourtant, selon la description du produit, j'aurais dû en bénéficier. Le son est très bon, mais ces deux problèmes majeurs sont comme des cailloux dans ma chaussure. La confiance est rompue. J'ai donc décidé de renvoyer l'appareil. Désolé !

Premetto che questo è il mio primo streamer, però sono un audiofilo di lunga data e utilizzo da tempo dispositivi sia analogici a valvole sia digitali hi-end e posso dire che per la cifra che costa questo Arylic S50 Pro fa davvero bene il suo lavoro di conversione dei dati che arrivano dalla rete oppure dallo smartphone. Non mi aspettavo questa qualità audio. Bravi. Questo è quello che conta per me. Sul fronte dell’interfaccia, posso dire che potrebbe essere migliorabile il seguente aspetto: se non è attivo il wi-fi perché momentaneamente spento, il dispositivo non lo capisce e passa automaticamente in modalità installazione, da cui non è immediato uscire. Problema facilmente rimediabile con un futuro upgrade del firmware.

A little background before we get started. I was looking to upgrade my 20+ year old TEAC receiver to something with more modern features and streaming capabilities. My initial research led me to purchase a used Marantz NR1606 AVR. It had all the features I wanted at a decent resale price, so I figured I'd go for it. The only problem was..... the sound. Compared to my old TEAC, the Marantz had an empty and soulless sound, like my speakers weren't living up to their potential. I have a pair of Athena F2.2 speakers, a great and full sounding budget pair of speakers I've had for years. The Marantz crippled them, even after running the calibration software and tweaking the EQ and tone controls, my system just sounded hollow...... Enter the Arylic S50 Pro+. I had seen some reviews of the A50, but didn't necessarily need the amp section, so the S50 seemed perfect. I could use it to add modern features to my already existing system, or use it as a standalone pre-amp with other separates, which is what I eventually ended up doing. I currently have it running with a Crown XLS 402 powering the Athenas and the sound is powerful, controlled and full. It's cleaner and more articulate than my old TEAC, while maintaining the mid-range/mid-bass that the Marantz completely lacked. Couldn't be happier with the sound. On to the features. The S50 Pro+ is a pretty simple, no-nonsense unit. It has 1 set of RCA ins for hooking up my CD player, an optical in, that I'm using for my TV, line out, and a sub out for adding a powered subwoofer. I'm currently running a VMPS Larger subwoofer powered by a Face audio F1200TS amp....... needless to say, the neighbors are also enjoying it lol. Set up was super easy using my phone and connecting the S50 to my home Wifi network. The remote is simple, but has all the controls you really need. Other than that, the 4Stream app has all of the other controls you need. The built in EQ is great for when you need that extra bass and treble boost when listening at low volumes or for just getting things tuned to your listening room. All around, this is a great streaming option that offers quality features and sound at a price far below anything else in it's class

Bisher habe ich Google Chromecast Audio verwendet (optische Verbindung via TosLink) und war neugierig, ob ich einen Qualitätszuwachs habe, wenn ich den Arylic verwende. Eigentlich habe ich nicht wirklich damit gerechnet, da beide Geräte ja eigentlich nur das digitale Signal an meine aktiven Verstärker weiterleiten und die Verstärker erst die Umsetzung von Digital nach Analog machen. Erstaunlicherweise ist es aber sehr wohl ein Unterschied. Und zwar ein großer!!! Bei Musikwiedergabe mit den passenden Stücken ist die Bühne tiefer gestaffelt und auch die Breite stellt sich voluminöser dar. Spotify mit der höchsten Qualitätsstufe kommt dann direkt über den Netzwerkanschluß, der Fernseher ist via Bluetooth gekoppelt. Ich habe bereits ein Boxenset mit dem Up2Stream 2.1 Verstärker von Arylic und kann mit dem dann auch prima Multiroom machen. Also die Musik auf allen Geräten gleichzeitig abspielen. Leider spielen die Arylic Geräte nicht mit Google Home zusammen. Also Multiroom geht nicht gemischt. Das ist schade. Aber da mich die Arylic Qualität begeistert hat steige ich um und verabschiede mich von Chromecast. Problem gelöst... Die Einrichtung war easy, aber man benötigt die App. Für mich kein Problem. Habe mir noch einige S10+ bestellt um 2.1 Boxen in Gästezimmer, Kinderzimmer, Küche usw. anzubinden. Bin gespannt...

I needed a streaming device for my son who has just brought his first home and was setting up a dedicated music room. Having seen the reviews on YouTube, I decided to give this a try. The Arylic S50 PRO allows multiple devices to be connected, turn table, CD player and of course stream high-res audio from Tidal, Spotify etc. Paired with a decent pair of Kef speakers and a NAD class D amp, the SP50 Pro sounds really good, very detailed and just perfect for streaming the high-res audio we needed it for. You have to use the 4STREAM app, so check the app out, just to make sure you're happy.
