Satellite Finder Meter Kit in Hardshell Case

I bought this to use setting up dish at different RV campgrounds. I use the meter and a satellite finder app on my smartphone to point my dish.It has worked pretty well so far.

Good set, however, bubble level only fits two inch pipe.

Outstanding value. Exactly what I needed to get my dish pointed and signal peaked. Hardcase is the perfect touch.

Did nor work for my Dish

I am not sure why there are so many low ratings for this satellite finder meter kit. This kit came with a dish I ordered from Oasis and has easy to use for me. I found the following to work well for me: First you need to maker sure your mast (the round pipe that fits in the dish) is leveled. second, find the Azimuth, Elevation and SKU for your zip code (this can be found in the installation manual that came with your dish or can be found on your dish providers support website). Third, set the Elevation and SKU on the dish according to your installation manual (make sure these nuts are tight once set. Fouth, losen the bolts that attach the dish to the mast just enough that you can move dish left or right. Fifth, Grab the compass and align it to the lnb arm and turn dish till the correct Azimuth is showing on the compass. sixth, connect the satellite cable and receiver cable to the satellite finder. turn on the receiver, then turn knob on satellite finder to the right until the needle is on 5. turn the dish a small amount (if you go too much, you could pickup th wrong satellite) until the needle reaches 10, tighen the bolts. remove satellite finder and reconnect receiver to satellite dish. Seventh,If the receiver does not start downloading in a couple of minutes, unplug for 10 seconds to reset receiver. the receiver should work now. I use this when traveling
