It was easy to use and an assemble and looks amazing on my wall in the living room

First, the light box works fantastic and really brings life to movie posters. The only issue I had was the magnetic strips on the side are a little closer together then 27”. If I try to secure the sides it causes ripples to the entire poster. That does kind of suck but just securing the top and bottom makes it look a lot better. Obviously, I would prefer being able to secure all 4 sides.I would expect for $250 that they would have been measured correctly or even made to be a little wider then 27”. It being too narrow doesn’t seem like a mistake that should have been made. I don’t think anyone would want to have to cut their original posters, because of a frame not being made correctly.Other then that it’s quite nice and keep in mind the one I received may have just been defective.

After attempting to do a DIY lightbox for our home theater, the cost was getting close to products on the market already, so I bit the bullet and chose this one from a few.I love the magnetic attachment of the front frame to the lighting panel and the magnetic 'clips' to hold the poster. When I received the product, I found that it is an 'always on' product meaning that no on/off switch is included. I struggled with this as I had designed recessed outlets to power these and wasn't sure that I wanted them on 24/7. I found an inline dimmer switch for LEDs here on Amazon that solved this issue and now I am able to switch them on and off at discretion. The second issue that I found was that the transformer was larger than expected which did not work within the recessed outlets.These two aspects were the ONLY drawbacks to this product for my project in my opinion. I will be picking up two more as I have two more alcoves to fill :-). Mounting is a 2-person job as there is some weight to deal with and placing the DS posters is a handful for one person. Movie posters are not consistent in sizing as 27x40 is a general guideline. Expect ripples unless you want to trim the paper to exact dimensions.

Easy to open and replace posters!

The light part works just fine and is made of hundreds of tiny LEDs. The huge downside to this is that the magnets that hold the front in place, are WAY too strong and it’s nearly impossible to change your poster without ripping the entire frame off the wall. I recommend going with a different frame that doesn’t use magnets

Easy to insert photo/poster, easy to hang, nice bright backlight. Magnets are nice and strong, no need to worry about the frame coming apart on its own. Very simple but elegant look!

This is a backlit movie poster display frame, although obviously other art can also be displayed on it.The backlight is very powerful unless there is something in the way, so leaving any part of the backlight visible is not a good idea.The unit opens by swinging the front matte/frame and glass down from the top and pulling it away. It is held on by metal tabs with magnets on the backlight piece. Sometimes the glue securing the metal tab is weaker than the magnet, leaving one stuck on the magnet and useless for securing the frame.The frame is powered by a drop down connector which connects via a barrel plug into an AC adapter.Ruler for scale.
