This hairspray will definitely hold your hair in place, but it makes it feel very stiff.

This hairspray worked really well to hold my hair in place. I was very pleased with it.

I am a retired hairstylist who for decades has used this hairspray in Lieu of the much more expensive brand-name ones. I wear my hair on the shorter side much like a modern shag but I need height on top for flattery to my face yet as my hair is very fine it needs help to keep it lifted on top and in place. What I like about this hairspray is that it does not weigh my hair down, it is not wet and heavy on my hair like many other hair sprays are. Also I like the fact that it is not sticky once dry and adds a bit of sheen to my hair. It washes out well, I always wash my hair twice when washing it And it never leaves a build up that other hairsprays can do which also will weigh the hair down. I find, though, it can be challenging to find. It is not in every store. I have found it at Walmart, occasionally at a dollar store but I order it online as it saves me from running around looking for it. It’s the only hairspray That I use. Highly recommend. I use the 4X hold for a decent hold, especially in humid weather. And still does not tend to weigh my hair down.

I ordered this hairspray because it said it was fragrance free. It even says it twice in the advertisement unfortunately it is loaded with some kind of smelly perfume agent. If you’re looking for something that smells like perfume this is the product for you. if you’re looking for unscented hairspray I do not recommend buying this product.
