Perfect Chalk Paint for Remodel Projects – Beautiful Finish with Zero Hassle
I used the Country Chic All-in-One Chalk Paint in “Sunday Tea” during a couple of recent remodels, and it quickly became one of my favorite go-to products for updating furniture and built-ins. This paint is everything it promises—rich color, great coverage, eco-friendly, and super easy to work with.First off, the built-in primer and top coat is a huge time saver. I used it on a mix of surfaces including wood cabinets, an old dresser, and even a metal mirror frame. I barely had to prep—just a light scuff sanding—and the paint went on smooth and even. It adheres well without peeling or chipping, and the matte finish looks beautiful and high-end, not dull or chalky like some others.“Sunday Tea” is the perfect warm grey—it has just the right balance of softness and depth. It works in both modern and farmhouse-style spaces and pairs nicely with white, wood, or even bolder accent colors. I used it on a couple of bathroom vanities and some kitchen cabinet fronts and got compliments from clients right away. The paint also dries quickly and has very little odor, which made it ideal for indoor work during the remodels. Plus, knowing it’s eco-friendly and low in VOCs gave me peace of mind using it in homes with kids or pets.If you’re doing any furniture flips, cabinet refreshes, or home décor updates, this chalk paint is a winner. Great color, great performance, and no need for multiple extra products—what more could you want?

Great chalk paint, easy to apply
This is a nice chalk paint with great coverage. It dries fairly quickly. I used two 4 oz. jars to paint a rocking chair with lots of spindles and scrolls. I needed two coats to properly cover the dark wood, although the paint is neither thin nor transparent. I still want to wax and antique the chair. But for now it's a matte off-white durable finish, useable as is, which will be fine until I can find time to wax it. I like this paint a lot - the hardest part was choosing a color! Aside from cleaning the chair, no prep was needed before applying the paint.

Beautiful!
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't stop eyeing the color Sunday Tea. Honestly, I wasn't even sure exactly what I wanted to paint with it but I was so inspired by the color I took the leap and decided to make over my bedroom furniture.I got the 16oz jar and did two coats on my nightstand, 2 coats on a big lamp, and started on a buffet table that's been in my basement. I still have maybe a quarter of the jar left which is not enough to do my tall dresser, but I think it would've been plenty if I hadn't messed around with the lamp and buffet table.I used a primer, but I honestly don't think it was necessary. To apply I used synthetic bristle brushes to cut in, and a 4 inch foam roller for the rest. The roller did leave some texture but I think that was easier to sand smooth than brush strokes. I also made sure my brush and roller were slightly damp, and kept a spray bottle handy to mist the piece/thin out the paint as needed. It was so easy to work with. I love that it dries fast, so by the time you're finished with your first code you can go right back over with the second one. I also love that it didn't have any funky odors and was easy to clean up and clean out of my paint brushes so I can use them again. It's holding up fairly well, although I will say it's not a super durable finish. It does pick up scratches and scuffs rather easily so I am definitely planning to get some wax or something to seal & protect it. Compared to my experience using the really cheap chalk paint from big box stores, the quality of this paint is 100x better and well worth the money.

Great color but order more than you think you will need.
I like this product. It dries quickly and is easy to clean up. I gave it four stars because of the coverage; it took three coats. Because it is a small container, I ended up reordering three times. The picture is after the second coat. The color is Peacoat.

Best paint I’ve used great quality !
It’s is pricey but worth the money. It covers nicely and paint goes a long way. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I’ve done several furniture projects and they turned out beautiful. Bought this recent color to redo a chair to match my bedroom decor.

Easy to use and pretty :)
So.. I've bought a total of 4 of these things (2x 8 oz, 1x 32 oz. and 1 x 16 oz).I went on a kick of painting all of my generic black/dark brown Ikea furniture because I was a little tired of not being able to see bugs on them.I used this on both the shiny/smooth furniture and wood furniture and it worked well on both of them. It definitely worked better on the wood furniture though. The paint was unexpected very easy to use and the color came out a LOT prettier than expected! It was easy to clean off my hands and brushes and the paint came right off my clothes in the wash as well.Overall, I'm very very pleased with this paint and will purchase more if I need any crafty paint in the future. One thing that was a little odd to me was that the first 3 times (2x 8 oz & 1x 32 oz), there was absolutely no smell to the paint, which I really loved. But the last one (16 oz) had a slight paint thinner smell to it and seemed a bit more watery compared to the other containers I had purchased. It still worked nicely though and the smell went away in one night so I don't have any complaints.

paint perfect
This painting works perfect! I had to fix some flaws in my apartment and the color was a perfect match. The paint doesn't need many coats.

The good, bad and messy
Quality of paint is good, took three coats for best coverage. Color was perfect for my project. Poorly packaged. The lid was crooked loosing much of the pricier paint in the package.
