It help bring a picky kid out of her comfort zone.
This was a gift for my very picky daughter. We were hoping by getting her excited about food and helping in the kitchen would lead to her trying more types of food. IT WORKED! We give her a night every week to choose a recipe from the cookbook, then we go to the store and she shops for the ingredients. Getting her involved in the whole process has really opened her up to new experiences that she use to refuse.
