This baby gate is perfect for the top of our stairs. It is easy to open for adults but not children. We like that there is no bar at the bottom so no tripping hazards. It was easy to install for someone that’s installed a few baby gates but the instructions were a little off. It feels sturdy! Would recommend

This gate is very well built and thoughtfully designed. Installation was straightforward—not overly complicated—and the instructions were clear. Once installed, it operates smoothly and feels very secure. One of the best features is that it can swing in either direction, which adds flexibility depending on your space. Most importantly, it’s difficult enough that a toddler can’t open it, which gives us peace of mind. A great safety solution that looks and functions well.

This has been our favorite baby gate by far it has an easy one-hand opening feature, but is challenging for toddlers. I do wish it auto closed, but all the other features make up for it. You can set it up to swing whichever way you want, it's easy for an adult to take on and off the wall if you need to move it out of the way (so not retractable, but removable and easy to pop on and off as needed). It's also width adjustable to fit your opening.My favorite feature though, is that it has no trip bar at the bottom - which is needed if it's at the top of the stairs, and definitely a nice feature to have anywhere else. It's been very high quality and feels very stable. We have one that's still going strong after 3 years. We've also bought others in that time. I will never buy a different baby gate again!

The directions for the gate aren't fantastic and the templates are kind of difficult to use. You really shouldn't install it directly to drywall. I ended up making blocking for each end and secured that into studs using 2 1/2" screws. The included screws stripped out quickly (even with pilot holes). Grab some screws from a local hardware store if you plan on reusing the gate or moving it at any point.

This is an amazing baby gate, I installed it at the top of my stairs and it's a nice heavy duty metal with a locking latch no kid can open. If they did that would be impressive.Funtions as needed, easy width adjustment, wide swing angle. It DOES have a clicking noise when it locks so if you have a easy wake kid near this it COULD wake them. But if you hold the top locking part down it's silent.

WE LOVE THIS GATE! It is easy to use, easy to install and even has a feature to lock it. We love that the gate can swing both directions and is so easy to adjust in case it gets pulled on or misaligned. Wish there were a couple more color options but this is a gate baby gate! Definitely worth the buy, the quality is great, design is good and works perfectly at the top of our stairs.

We love these gates we bought for our vacation home to protect our 15 mo grandchild from falling down the stairs. Loves how easy they were to install with the enclosed template. And the video was also helpful. They are very sturdy but at the same time easy to open to pass. Great product

I hate these gates. Like I actually hate them. I moved and needed new gates to keep my dogs out of certain areas. I installed two of them which took FOREVER. I’m pretty mechanically inclined and I’ve installed plenty of gates. But these… I’d think I had them lined up (used a laser level and everything) but as soon as they were all screwed in with new holes in my walls and baseboards, somehow they were no longer aligned. And THEN, after finally getting them aligned they would work a few times then for no particular reason they’d be completely out of alignment again! Yes, I tightened everything and followed the directions. They are just seriously awful and have been incredibly inconvenient and a huge waste of time during a stressful move. Pretty though.
