My sister and I got cocky after the first box, thinking it was going to be easy. We were WRONG. We almost gave up on box 2 when we realized we had to decipher different codes with only 4 symbols to start with-- however, with a notepad and a bit of patience it is actually pretty easy to work out the cipher alphabet.This is amazing fun that will keep you entertained for hours!! Turn off the tv and give your brain a workout, I promise you will love it.

Had a great time doing this with my gf. It took us 8 hours but had to use hints when it came to code breaking bc it asks you to translate a code language with only 4 of the 26 letters solved in this coded alphabet (Seriously Hunt-A-Killer like how am I going to solve anything with 4 letters only?). Once we used the hint on that one part the game became immensely easier since it is a reoccurring thing. One thing though is it felt like a lot of the "content" in the game was just filler and dialogue and not actually significant to the game itself, so because of this we ignored most documents and were able to speed through it (Although some good creep factors to it). As you go it gets a bit spooky which I like (wish they included more creepy things though).It is immersive, however, as my gf still getting emails from the ingame newsletter and it is definitely pulling us towards the second box set. If you come for the creepy scare factor though, you might be disappointed.P.S. the boxset we got was a little damaged and ripped, so it was a bit upsetting. The boxes themselves are a bit flimsy.TL;DR: Fun experience, the code segment borderline requires you to take a hint, wish it was more creepy/scary, a lot of filler dialogue piled on top of actual gameplay material. 7.5/10

My wife and I love Hunt A Killer when we host game night with our friends. We recently moved to Germany and ordering from companies in the states can be a little difficult. So we more often than not just purchase things from Amazon. My wife has always wanted the Blair Witch box but purchasing it from the website it was either nearly $300 or not in stock. I took a shot with getting this and though it might be obvious that it’s discounted for a reason, there’s still no indication as to why.The box set did not come vacuumed sealed like they normally do. The boxes seemed like they were already in used condition. Not necessarily poor condition but you could tell they were old, have been sitting somewhere, and was packed tightly in some holding area. The corners have started to show ware. The individual episodes were just taped over with packing tape so removing it will rip the graphic on the box. The contents of each episode were packed very well, almost like it was glued shut, in a envelop parcel. Without trying to spoil it for any but if you’re familiar with Hunt-A-Killer, some/most come with UV flashlights that aren’t the best in the beginning and are horrible if passing them off to another person so the flashlight died within the first 30 seconds of use.Just all together was not a great experience for this set. There’s something about unwrapping a brand new set that makes you feel like everything is as it should. Maybe that’s just me being stubborn, uptight, and sort of a germaphobe.Sorry it’s such a long drawn out review but hopefully you find it helpful. I will definitely be reading a few reviews on my next purchase to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Cheers!

We really enjoyed Blair Witch. We have done a few of the full series of Hunt-A-Killer and found this to be quite immersive and taking us around 15-20 hours for thorough completion. Fun items, great story!
