The lids seem to be built fine and I tested the seal on a couple of them with some hot water, the seal holds and passes the lift test. Most of the lids were clean and undamaged. I have to give marks down for packaging, which was terrible. The lids were packed in two separate ziplocked bags which were too big and were packed in a box that had insufficient padding. As a result 11 of the 100 lids were damaged to a point where I would not use them to pressure seal anything. Even a small dent changing the shape of the seal or the lid is a risk when dealing with bacteria. The photo shows a pile of damaged lids on the left.

Very good value for money. Great to be able to buy in bulk. They should keep me busy for a couple of years.

The packing on this item is terrible. No padding, just thrown loosely in a plastic bag. The result is that about a quarter of the lids are bent, dinted or scratched - making them unusable for canning. The ones that survived the post seem ok, and I have canned succcessfully with them. But one you account for the large waste of throwing a quarter of your delivery away, its not as cost effective as other options.

Don't buy if your ar canning for shelf stable items..... These don't seal and food leaks out in the pressure canner.
