Received my product, looks good and service was great

I'm glad its solid wood. My prior bottom board wasn't and only lasted 3 years. I ordered 2 and I noticed 1 was missing staples (reason for 3 stars) that secured the screen to the wood. I could see the indent where the staple gun was pressed against the screen/wood but yea, no staples. Luckily, I have a staple gun and fixed it.

Fits my 8 frame hives perfectly. Arrived quickly and well packed. Exactly what I was looking for to expand my apiary.

These are pine but almost have a balsa type wood weight and texture, very poor fitment, the slide in boards/corrugated do not fit, screw split wood, no coating or stain. I was a few days getting to this package due to hurricane recovery, and boy am I disappointed. I'm going to try and rebuild and glue to secure them. They were boxed with no protection beyond the outer cardboard skin. The two positives are the large or small bee entry boards, and one is warped.

These products are fantastic! I purchased several hives from Bob and his helpers when I first started beekeeping in 2016. Those hive kits are the best made and most thoroughly produced I have purchased. When you're buying hive equipment, it's always wise to spend a tiny bit extra and pay for the quality like Little Larue delivers. Very happy to see Little Larue's items available here on Amazon now! I'll definitely be buying more (once my wife agrees to let me put more hives in the back yard! LOL)
