Much deeper than pictured; this item is over 3" thick. The price of the clock makes it seem like this is an expensive, well-crafted movement. It's not, it's the same as any cheap clock. It looks nice, it's really large, and it keeps time... but the photos are deceptive, and the price is not reflective of the quality of workmanship. Save your money.
