Learning made fun and easy with Miko 3!
Was a bit hesitant while buying an AI based robot for my 5 year old, but I am highly impressed, I must say. The Miko 3 just surpassed all my expectations and made me shun my doubts and inhibitions about AI. I read some reviews that did not look so promising, but I still went ahead because they have a 30 days no-questions asked return policy. So that gave me some comfort. Anyway, you really wouldn't want to return it once you see what all it can do!The best part about Miko is that it isn't just made to be a robot. It's made to be your child's friend. I read up that Miko has been making kids robots for a few years now and with Miko 3 it has done fantastic job. Miko certainly seems to know its way around kids. I haven't seen my kid so involved in a STEM toy before. Miko is curious, expressive, and empathetic and keeps your child indulged in everything that it has to offer.It learns to adapt to your child's behavior and intelligence and can accelerate their cognitive development by curating the right kind of activities personalized according to your child's needs. The robot can see, learn and adapt according to your child's moods. The more you spend time with it, the better it gets to know you.The applications and courses that Miko offers are really impressive. It covers everything, including trivia, jokes, stories, and even school work. It's a great knowledge repository where your child can dive deep to nurture their interest. For $49 the Miko Max subscription is a great add on. It includes closely curated content by the world's top educational content creators. You can find everything from yoga to environmental awareness in the applications included with the Miko Max.Overall, I'm glad I made the decision to get my child a Miko 3. He's absolutely in love with the toy and so am I!

GARBAGE! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
Updating my review-This robot is a scam. This has been an ABSOLUTE nightmare dealing with this robot and I wish we never got it. My 6 year old son saw the ad for this robot and it was all he wanted for Christmas. I usually don't spend this much money on a gift but he wanted it so bad so we splurged. Its a piece of crap. Our 1st one was defective and wouldn't hold a charge. It also wouldn't stay connected to the internet. Then it just stopped turning on all together. Dealing with customer service was SO BAD! They were doing everything they can to not have to return it. I spent a week trying to convince them to request a replacement. They tried asking me to take time stamped photos of the battery life, having to have a zoom meeting so they can see the bot and see what's wrong, telling me it was because of a "Christmas update". It still didn't work and I had to yell at them and demand a replacement. It was awful.Then I finally received the replacement today and now the MAX subscription I purchased when I had the defective bot would not transfer over to the new bot......so had to call customer service again! They said I needed to give them the order # for the max subscription. I never received one and forwarded them the emails showing that I did purchase and even had to send them a screenshot of it being taken out of my bank account. The man said "it should be resolved in 4-8 hours" I hope its not a lie but I'm not giving my hopes up. I have also left this robot charging with the proper adapter and it wont charge past 44%. I don't know why it wont hold a charge. It says the robot can sustain 6 hours of active use and 10 hours of standby use when charged. But the charge goes down so fast where it wouldn't last more than an hour.Also, does not do what it advertises. Does not follow the kid around, does not use the kids name or play hide and seek. When my son asks if Miko wants to play he says, "i dont understand" . There is also no way to return this piece of garbage and receive my money back.This is a waste of money and the worst experience I have ever had. I would have rather purchased a tablet for my son instead. It would at least have worked. I am so disappointed and so is my son.

Amazing gift for kids!
My son’s birthday was on December 1st, and we bought him Miko 3. Our son fell in love instantly, and has been playing with Miko non-stop every day. Highly recommend for parents looking to both entertain and educate their kids.Some features that we like most:1. Setting up Miko 3 was really easy. All we had to do was download the parent app and connect the robot to WiFi.2. A LOT of content. From math, to science, and foreign languages, and new content gets added every month.3. Miko is quick to respond to voice commands and we actually noticed how it started responding to our boy within a few interactions just by simply understanding the tone and mood.5. Through the Miko parental app, we can see & control how much our child plays with Miko during the day, and we were able to do a video call through Miko. This is a great feature.We’re so pleased with this new addition to the family.

Stay Away
Puchased this item, which is over $200, for my two kids for Christmas. When we opened it up, it would not connect to the wifi at all, which I have 5G wifi and had connectivity on all of my devices. Tried a number of different troubleshooting suggestions and nothing worked so figured item was defective and decided to "exchange" it for a new one. The seller does not allow direct exchances so I ordered a new one and started the process to return the item through Amazon. When I requested a return, it was stated that I would have to return for a return label from the seller which could take a few days. When I finally recieved the return label, it stated that Postage was required. Little did I know that I had to pay in order to ship this item back. Not only did I purchase this item for $200 and it did not work, now I had to pay the shipping charge, which ended up being $22 in order to return the item because it was defective. I have never had to pay to ship back a defective item to any company in which I have returned an item. If it wasnt defective in the first place I would not have to return it. Very disappoint in this company and their item, needless to say I am cancelling the new one I ordered as I would rather spend my money somewhere else.
