Cement mixer
When delivered and put together we found that the gear ring on the drum was cracked and the mixer would not operate properly. I called customer service and they promptly sent a replacement. When the new machine arrived we found it to work well however overall I believe the frame could use some reinforcement otherwise good

Great product for the price.
The size is great, pneumatic tires would be nice. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness, but I feel the motor mounting plate could use some heft.

For the average homeowner this is a good cement mixer.
The legs could be a little stronger. And it could sit higher in the air so I could get my wheel barrel under it.

Flimsy, unstable, low power.

Next level DiYer:-
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. What kind of DiYer needs a Cement mixer??? Answer: Not all of'em but if you're looking to tackle some cement projects, it could very well turn out to be a good investment. That folks has been the case for me:-)So, I've been tackling a home renovation project and 3 projects that require some cement work are my sidewalks, my mailbox and my driveway drainage system. This review covers my use of the Klutch 6 cubic ft cement mixer during my driveway project.ASSEMBLY: Assembly of the product was pretty simple. The parts were easily identifiable and the instructions were clear and easy to follow (more photos would have been helpful) and overall my assembly time took more or less right around 35 minutes. No special tools were required and they even included two different size wrenches and an allen key.CONSTRUCTION : Incorporating a steel reinforced drum and frame the mixer feels quite solid. Although not a deal breaker I would have rather seen a more substantial handlebar, but it's adequate and provides the user the leverage needed to move the mixer when necessary. The 10" wheels also make moving the mixer in and around the project/site easier. I do have one suggestion; a tube of axle/grease should be included since it's needed to grease/lube the Cast iron ring gear. We used some general all purpose grease from the local big box store.PRICE: For the capacity, the price fell within a reasonable range as compared to other mixers of this size. I actually bought mine at a local "specialty" big box store simply because i was given a military discount.OPERATION: Once together operating the mixer is a snap. There's a large on/off button to start and stop it's rotation. Inside the drum there are a pair of wands installed to aide in the mixing of your product and the 1HP motor had no issues mixing my 80lb quikrete bags of cement. I mixed one bag at a time and got an even, consistent mix each and every time. My project called for 32 bags and now that its done and I look back on it, mixing that much in a wheel barrel would have been some backbreaking, exhausting work. As it were, it was still a tiring afternoon, but I feel the project turned out fantastic largely in part to this mixer. As you can see from the pics my project was a 19ft long, 10" wide by 13" deep trench across a portion of my driveway. I positioned the mixer to straddle the trench so as i mixed bags, i could just dump the cement directly into the trench. The mixer performed flawlessly!!Surprisingly the mixer doesn't make any loud obnoxious noises either, now mind you it's not whisper quiet, but it's bearable and quiet enough that i felt comfortable mixing up my last bag after sundown without upsetting my neighbors:-)I've got to say that I'm really pleased I decided to pull the trigger and make this purchase. My sidewalk project is going to be a beast, but with this mixer at least I know I can make pretty quick and short work of the cement mixing portion part of the project. Thanks Klutch:-)
