Some minor issues, but overall very satisfied
Pros• High quality construction• Light, comfortable even after hours of use• Audio indication of mute on / mute off. This may not be important for all headset users, but in a business environment, it’s extremely important.• Audio indication of battery level and PC connection state• Can answer & disconnect TEAMS calls from the headset, as well as mute / unmute and volume up/down. The mute state tracks on Teams too (your own screen as well as other meeting participants), it’s not simply turning off the microphone.• Excellent sound quality from both the mic & speaker.Cons• Minimal instructions provided the box, just a card that tells you to download and install “Poly Lens” software.• Poly Lens says to update the firmware on the BT700 and the headset.• Firmware update on headset failed 5 times before 6th attempt was successful.• Contacted support via email after the fifth try – never got any response.• When you turn the phone on, although it automatically connects to the PC, it doesn’t change the device setting in windows, you must remember to do this manually. I can imagine that might be desirable for some users, it’s just an extra step for me. Similarly, when you turn the phone off, Windows still shows “Poly BT700” as the audio device, so you must manually select a different device.• Biggest complaint -- there are no instructions to let you know you must download & install the “Plantronics Hub” software to configure the headset to work with Teams. I only stumbled upon that information by reviewing the questions & answers here on Amazon. This may seem like a long list, but they are all minor and are mostly one-time issues only relate to installation, not day-to-day operation, so I have not reduced my rating of the product.Observation -- Wireless RangeI was initially very disappointed by the range of the wireless connection; conversations began getting choppy at 20 feet and dropped entirely much beyond that. Since the specs call out a range of 164 feet, I was getting ready to return the unit. Then I realized that the physical location of the BT700 might be contributing to the problem, since two desktop computers stood between it and the headset when I conducted my tests. Instead of connecting it directly to my laptop, I added a 4-foot USB extension, enabling me to position it on the other side of those computers. This completely resolved the issue; I’ve tested out to 150 feet and the audio quality remains excellent. If you have problems with range, try the USB extension approach and experiment the position of the BT700.

Just go buy them already!
These are amazing. Super comfy. Mic does a great job blocking out most background noise. You can be on conference calls in a loud coffee shop if needed. Not that I would be one of those people.... Ok, that ONE time I was. It was all for science. :0)The ear speaker is clear with decent enough bass for music listening. I got the MS Teams version and it's worked great with my iPhone, iPad, and my Windows 10 work laptop. I'll often use these instead of the built-in bluetooth of my car. This headset sounds better to the listener and I can also hear them better, since one ear is just hearing the caller, vs also listening to road noise.Couple minor issues:1. Power switch feels very cheap. It's feels super flimsy, almost like something is wrong with it. Works OK so far though.2. One time, the headset went a bit nuts. It's like the internal microprocessor got hung up. I went to turn off the headset and nothing happened (it tells you "power off" normally). I tried power on/off several times to no avail. About 30 seconds later, the headset "woke up" and said several times in a row... "power off"... "power on." It seemed like an exorcism might be in order. Anyhow, hasn't happened since.I've gone through a number of headsets over the years and a few more due to the virus that shall not be named. This is the only one I'd consider impressive. Spend the extra few bucks on this one. Your ears and sanity will thank you.

Excellent Blue Tooth reach
I like this headset for a few reasons. First, has a very long range, can walk around my house and yard over 250ft, and I can extend further if needed. Another feature I like is the noise canceling, it is awesome. I have several people ask for the model number of the headset because it is so good with reducing background noise, I can be driving and it sounds the same as when I am in my office. the third feature is it allows you to connect to multiple devices at the same time, I use it on my phone, computer and iPad.

Headset DOA
Headset arrived DOA. No audio function whatsoever. Called and confirmed with Poly customer support that unit did not function. Hefty price to pay for a paperweight. Also I've owned nearly every office headset that Plantronics / Poly has made since 2005. The quality of product seems to slip a bit more every time a new model is released. This is the cheapest feel yet.Cannot comment on battery or range because unit was DOA.This was the last straw for me after needing to replace another busted Poly headset after only 2 years use. This will be the end of my brand loyalty.

Range is better than most,Sound quality amazing,Noise Cancellation excellent.Worth the extra $$$
Wireless Range is about 40ft obstructed which is better than most headsets out there. Uses bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.0. Noise cancellation is excellent. People can't hear my kids or background noise when I'm on calls. So comfortable I could wear it all day. Battery life is amazing. Mute button works great. Headset talks to let you know it's on or connected and how much battery is left. I went through 5 headsets trying to get this functionality for less money and you just can't. This headset is worth the extra money to get everything you want and need in a wireless headset.

Doesn't work well with RingCentral
The headset it self works and it's comfortable, but the lag time when answering calls through RingCentral is crazy. It sounds like it answers, but when I listen to my calls, you can't hear me at all for at least four seconds and it cuts off my greeting. It's a little frustrating. Other than that, it's a good headset, just doesn't work for what I need it for.

Great value
This headset checks most of the boxes, comfortable, good sound quality, long battery life. The stated range of 50m is very overstated. The best I'm getting is half of that at best. The stated talk time of 24 hours is realistic.

Very high quality!
I spend most of my working life on telephone calls, whether that's with MS Teams, zoom or via my mobile. As this is the case I was looking for the perfect headset to use both at home and while out and about. The Poly is expensive, that's the reason I'm not going with 5 stars as I think the price-point should be below £100 for a decent headset. I also would like a USB-C option to support the newer laptops. All that said, it performs brilliantly. I love the mute control and the fact it also gives you audible announcements that you're muted, even if you try to speak you hear "muted" in your ear, which is very valuable (for me) as I often forget I'm muted! The connection to PC and bluetooth to mobile works really well. I had a similar headset prior to this and it was always answering the wrong call (e.g. Teams would ring on mobile and PC, it would answer the mobile first). The Poly appears to prioritise the PC - another asset!Comfort is second to none, I'll happily have this on for a few hours without any trouble whatsoever. The Poly feels sturdy on your head. Definitely like you're wearing a luxury headset. Finally the battery life. I'm not sure how they do it but I can't yet seem to get it to drain - it's fantastic! I charged it on Sunday and it's now Friday and it's still saying "Battery 10 hours" when I power it on - that's a week of heavy calling.Would I buy again? I'd definitely like the price to be a little in-line with that of other headset brands. But the performance is great. The controls are self-explanatory and very simple to use and integrate with your preferred voice-app of choice.

Amazing Noise Cancellation
Poly Voyager 4310 UC came simply packaged and is a single ear headset. In the box came the headset, Bluetooth dongle, USB-C cable (for charging and wired connection) and carry bag with a separate attached pouch for the Bluetooth dongle. However, there were no instruction in the box or software. But after going to the manufacturer’s website, I was able to download the necessary software to manage the device. The firmware version for both the dongle and headset needed updating and was simple enough to update. The headset worked straight out of the box with the Bluetooth dongle plugged into the computer and the computer automatically installed the drivers (Windows10). Sound quality was very clear and crisp, and the noise cancelling is excellent. The headset itself is adjustable and comfortable to wear, has a volume up/down and a dedicated team’s button on the earpiece. The mic boom arm is adjustable up and down and has an easy to find mute button. The headset claims to have a 50-meter range, but I get just over 10 when connect to the supplied Bluetooth dongle before it starts to cut out. I have also managed to find it cheaper with a charging stand included. If this product came with charging stand and instruction would have given 5 stars.

Excellent voice and sound quality, comfortable
! spend most of my day on either Teams, Zoom or mobile calls and I have been using this product for the last week. The first thing to comment on is the ease of set up; using the supplied bluetooth dongle, the connection to my laptop was pretty instant and again, pairing with my phone was easy. I downloaded the supporting software from Poly on my laptop and would recommend others do this as it provides some useful settings and configurable controls. For example, I found the audio on my voice in the earpiece was a little loud when on 'standard' and changing to low was more realistic. I have been garnering feedback from colleagues and the voice quality from the headset is reported as excellent and even' best I have heard'. There are some useful features such as one touch call answering for both teams and mobile calls as well as easy to use volume controls. Finally, I have found the one ear design to be far more comfortable the my previous dual speaker headset and the padding etc is very good making this comfortable to wear for extended periods. Overall have found it a very good headset to use and would recommend.

Well worth the money
I use this for work on a Windows pc, I had tried loads of cheaper ones, total false economy. This is brilliant, so light and comfortable excellent found quality and it means I can keep an ear out for the doorbell when I'm home. Also great to play music and make calls on my mobile.

Great headset
The headset is very comfortable and has made virtual meetings and calls easy. It is linked to a Microsoft Teams to make calls easier and has useful functional buttons. The wireless functionality remains when when walking away from the laptop or into another room. The sound quality is very clear and cuts out background noise, even in a busy office. It is very practical for agile working, both at home and in the office.
