It's an ok product.

Extremely poorly made
The crimping tool included in this kit is very poorly and cheaply made. Based on that alone I would avoid buying this kit.

It is okay but not for professional daily use
Anksono Network Tool Kit 17 in 1 Ethernet Crimping Tool for Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a,RJ11/RJ45 Network Cable Tester Wire Tracer Punch Down Tool,50PCS RJ45 Connectors,50PCS Covers,50PCS Cable TiesMy husband wanted this network tool kit to have on hand as a backup to his professional-grade network tools. He's used each of the tools a few dozen times since we got it a couple of weeks ago and says it is fine for occasional or emergency use, but the crimper and tester/tracer tools won't stand up to the kind of daily use and abuse that a professional's tools would. For instance, the crimper does work but the RJ-45 connector does not fit snugly in the jaws, so you need to watch when you squeeze to make sure the spike pins are making proper contact with their mating surface while squeezing. The housings of the tester/tracer tools and the punch down tool are made of the type of rigid plastic that cracks or breaks if dropped onto concrete. Also, there is no padding or holder for the 9-volt battery in either of the tester/tracer tools, so it rattles around in them pretty loudly with even minor movement. The tester works as a basic connectivity tester and checks each wire in sequence, 1 through 8, repeating the cycle continuously. The tracer works pretty well for as inexpensive as it is. Given its relatively economical price, this kit is fine for occasional Ethernet work but if you're going to be doing a lot of it, you might want to explore other options.

Light-Medium duty tools for the DIYer. Not the best value kit.
This is a kit with a broad purpose, however, some of the included tools are of either poor quality or won't give you enough value to justify the price this item is listed for.The crimp tool is decent, but not heavy duty. The wire locator/pair tester is of entry DIYer quality. The case itself contains a variety of items that are not in common use today which are focused on single pair landline servicing, and those tools are of poor quality as well such as snips, a punchdown tool that got stuck under testing, a pair of screwdrivers, tie wraps and headphones for a single pair analog line.Overall this is a kit where only the crimping tool, huge case and the RJ45 Plugs are worth it. Everything else is of very amateur quality, and for this price point, you can get a much better keep, i can't recommend this at this price in good conscience.

Over-priced for what you get
I have to agree with the other reviewers here. This is a decent set for the average DIYer, but if you are needing something to use on a regular, or even semi-regular, basis then this kit is not for you. While the signal tracer does indeed work, everything just has this feeling of being cheaply made, and I doubt any of it would hold up to regular use. That said, if you only need to trace a wire or make new CAT-5/6 cables a few times a year, then this kit would do fine. It just seems as though they've lumped a bunch of cheap parts/tools together in order to justify the price point for this kit.
