The camera is fine, but don’t try and make a mistake purchasing any subscriptions, they try and scam you and make you pay for a year even when you cancel within 12 hours. Too many other products as good. Still in dispute with this company after an hour on the line with untrained customer service. Go elsewhere

I have many different brands of cameras that I use for various things. I have 4 of the Wyze earlier released cameras and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of their newest camera. Their cameras are small and come with easy to use mounting hardware. I have the cameras set up in traffic areas. When a person enters the area I get an immediate alert on my smart phone. I get a real clear picture of what the camera detected. These cameras have great range and do not loose connection to WIFI like other cameras when on the fringe of a small range from the router. You do need to have cameras in a lit area for night viewing. They do have an add on spot light for one of their cameras and it works just great. I DO NOT use these cameras strictly for a security system. My camera security system is hard wired and works 24/7. IP cameras can alert you to movement, but are only PART of a security system. I would never rely on just IP cameras for security. I hope this helps as Wyze produces some great 'state of the art' technologically advanced IP cameras! You can also use and emulator on your PC and view the cameras from your computer. I hope this helps, I really dislike it when people lacking knowledge about security systems pipe in with misinformation. I installed security cameras in government installations as a subcontractor years ago, and you never loose the basics of a designing a good installation.

I've been troubleshooting this device for a couple hours now. I can get it to connect to my network and I can view the video, but once the device reoobots (for a firmware update or just restarting the device from the app), the camera will not reconnect again. I can go through the setup process again, but then after any reboot, the device will not recommend. This is a new product and it may just be a defective firmware version I have. Either way, there is an issue with the design.Update: after letting it sit all night after unseccessfully trying to re-flash the firmware via an SD card, it randomly started working as was able to reboot as normal

Setup was a breeze and the device is scary smart. Will definitely be buying another one.

They Pan Cam v2 has much better picture quality and night vision in dark places than the previous version. I bought 1 for backyard security and was so impressed with the enhanced night vision that I purchased another to replace the v1 for my front yard/driveway and I bought 2 for my fiance. The quality is amazing. The subscription price is very affordable. We paid less than $15/yr per camera. I love the real time notifications. But, I especially love being able to see my whole back yard in the pitch black of night. If you're not in a well lit area, this is the camera to get. The only issue I've found is that in the darkest areas, it shows everything in B&W versus color. But picture quality is great. I do love that my dust to dawn light in the front yard keeps that camera picture in color. I linked my cameras to my Alexa app and my Echo let's me know whenever a person is detected. Don't know how it does it, but I am glad it does. I know when someone is here before they knock on my door.

Love this little camera. It's pretty fragile but so far it has held up pretty well. <fingers-crossed>

Ease of setup. Functionality is as claimed to pick up motion and follow targeted movement. Night vision isn’t actually too bad. It still struggles when it’s pitch black out so you’ll need some sort of low light to help the cam pick up movement. The customisable time to turn on and off the cam is the bonus.I had ordered this Pan Cam 2 from Amazon, but received the wrong model and subsequently returned it. I had an immediate need to replace an older security cam so I picked one up a local hardware store.Compared to the Nest, dollar for features, the Wyze Pan Cam 2 is a powerhouse full of features. Even the Cam+ cloud subscription (it’s optional, not required) is really affordable. If you have a micro SD card you can record the footage as an alternative.Would buy another in a heartbeat!

Incluso estando a 3 metros del modem y sin paredes de por medio la cámara reporta baja-media señal. Si hay una pared de por medio la señal es baja y la cámara difícilmente se conecta. Cuando lo hace pierdes el video en vivo, y es problema de este tipo de cámaras ya que tengo una cam pan v1 que es menos mala pero también falla en ocasiones. Tengo una cam v3 la cual está más lejos que cualquiera de estas cam pan y la cam v3 nunca falla de señal y siempre detecta el wifi al 100%, si no es indispensable el que puedas mover tu cámara remotamente mejor opten por la cam v3

Excelente para la noche y detección de movimiento sin embargo al no comprar membresía solo grabará por segmentos de 12 segundos sin hacer uso de SD

El tamaño, la facilidad de instalación y configuración. El app es muy buena.
