Works great
This unit has only been in my pond for about two weeks. We have already had some temperatures slightly below 0 C. with some ice forming in parts of the pond It clears about a 6 square foot area in the pond and provides plenty of bubbles. I'm happy to no longer need a heater.Previously I was using 2 fish tank bubblers and a pond heater.

Keeps koi alive
Aerator bubbles powerfully keeping an opening at minnesota 7degree F. pond surface to allow nitrogen to escape. If aerator kept not deeper than 1 ft below surface of 5 ft. deep pond in winter, it will not draw warm bottom water to the surface. In warmer months this aerator can be placed on the bottom of the pond to oxygenate the pond. The large diameter reinforced hose is not the sinking type which is good for winter use. Weights can be added for summer use. The aerator pump is quiet and has a sturdy housing. Low amp. draw too.
