Grill Grubber BBQ Cleaning Brush Safe for People, Bristle-Free - NO Bristles That can Stick to Your Food, Made in USA!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The handle is well designed, but the pads are completely worthless!! The pads cannot scrub anything off grill grates heavily crusted! They just tear and fall apart, could not even clean half of my grill before they wore out.Going to try other options to clean:1 Need a scraper tool to first take off heavy burnt on bits. Must be solid steel, NOT a brush! Any curved tool will work, a panel removal tool, a tool called chargon or even a 7mm crescent wrench. A wet steam pad just will not hold up.2 The pad itself can be used as a soft backing, as long as its wrapped with a more durable fabric such as kevlar or soft leather similar to chamois. Since the fabric will be saturated with water, burning would not be an issue. A wet steam pad properly covered and used regularly will help reduce heavy residue build-up.Not sure what will work, but the pad "as is" is worthless. Stay tuned....UPDATED: order a 9x9 piece of 17 ounce Aramid cloth, no trimming necessary. Wrap the provided pad with the cloth as shown in my photos. Insert wrapped pad into the tool, and it works brilliantly!!! No issues with running the grill on High, the aramid cloth does not burn, tear or fall apart. Just soak with water, and gets really dirty which is what you want!!

Works well on a heavily used grill though the pads seem to wear out. This is the underside of my grill grate which gets pretty nasty. I used moderate to lite pressure on a cold grill to clean the gunk off. It took all of a minute. I also used it on my cold gas grill with the same results.The handle is well made and pretty light. Two hands helps with control but you don't need to apply pressure to clean it.

Had high hopes for this product and needed something without the wire bristles that get in your food. These scrubbing pads do not hold up to the rough bits of burnt on food things that stick to grill grates. The cleaning pad snags on the jagged bits and just shreds to pieces. Handle is strong and sturdy, but be prepared to buy cleaning pads constantly. Since you have to clean the grill cold or "warm", you'd probably be better off saving some money using a scouring pad and a gloved hand.

My wife cleaned our grill for the first time with this product following the video exactly and ended up with painful steam burns on her hand. Even in the video, the steam envelopes the guy’s hands. I’m not sure if there is any warning concerning burns or not, but I didn’t see any.Also, after cleaning the grill that first time (which was before cooking the food), we cleaned it again after and the pad is torn up to where it can’t be used again. If the pad is only good for a couple of uses, that’s going to get pretty expensive.

I used this in combination with a citrus spray I let soak on the grill bars. The scrubber took off all the grime and black crusted gunk as advertised. I'm glad it came with 2 scrubbers, because the cleaning process destroyed the first one. Can't use that one again. Had to put on the extra. I anticipate the other scrubber lasting much longer as now it will simply be normal routine cleaning. I don't fault the brush at all for not making it through one use as my bbq was very dirty. I love the fact that I won't be submitting my family nor guests to any unintentional metal fibers that can be left to get stuck on food and cause medical emergencies.

I really like the Grill Grubber because it cleans my grill better than bristle brushes that I have used in the past, with the added bonus of not finding a broken wire from the bristle brush in my burger! As a year-round grill family we can really go through some tough clean ups and the Grubber has tackled each one quickly and with ease. The pads are abrasive enough to get the job done on the cast iron grill plates, but I have found that the pads can also be used to clean the exterior of the grill when periodic cleanings are done.

I had bbq'd last week and waited until this arrived to clean the grill. I literally had to call my wife out to see how amazing this thing worked. It removed grime, grease and burnt on food in one swipe. My wife was just as shocked as I was and asked how hard I was pushing. I wasn't applying much pressure at all... the grill was even cold! I am extremely happy with this purchase I WILL be buying the replacement pads and I will be recommending this to all of my friends. Not only does this thing clean grills 100% easier and better than the wire brushes of the past but it is also made in the great USA! Win / Win.

Looking for a different grill brush I figured I would give this a try. The handle is well constructed and goes together easily. The pad cleans well, but they don't last long. After 4 cleanings (4 Uses!) the first pad has frayed so badly it can't be used. Into the trash this goes as the replacement pads are pretty pricey.
