1lb Cocoa Butter (All Natural) Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base

This soap is so moisturizing and creamy, and I loved using it to make sugar scrub cubes since I have such dry skin in the winter. The only thing I really hated was the smell it has. It doesn't smell like it's gone bad or anything, but it has a very strong unpleasant smell to it. It's not as noticeable if I add anything fragrant to it, however.

This worked so well. It does sweat some, but it was just so simple to use. I melted it, added local honey, lemon peel, oatmeal and citrus oil for soap. Smelled amazing, and everyone loved how it lathered and say it was perfect as a face wash. The oatmeal did not suspend, and did fall to the bottom, but that it was what I was looking for so that it would have an exfoliating side.

Really good quality, I usually do cold process soap but I was trying something a bit different by adding translucent embeds and I did not know how they would react so to be safe I used this with them. Shipped out quickly, was packaged well and was a dream to work with. I accidentally poured a bit onto my table and it came right up in a small sheet. I will come back if I ever need some again.

If your friend is into making you some really cool soaps... you will like this a lot.

I used this a few days ago. It melted nicely, hold the scent from the oils well. It dried/cooled nice and firmly. The mica color did not mix well, but will use liquid color from now on, if I use color. I prefer no dyes anyway. I added dried lavender and it is awesome. I will be back!

I previously ordered shea butter base to make soaps and it did not lather very well. After researching, I decided to give this cocoa butter a try and WOW! I shaved my legs with the soaps-- sooo smooth! I melted this base, added two tablespoons of cocoa powder to add to the scent. Love this product and will solely use this to make home made soaps.
