Most stocking caps skimp of the materials. They are too small and too thin. This is both thick and large with a fleece lining. Let the winds blow. They will not get through. The neck warmer is a bonus, and a reasonable substitute for a scarf. This hat is like comfort food for the outside of your head!Some of my misinformed family members (we're all from South Carolina) insist this is called a "toboggan." A toboggan is a sled. This is a hat. I would contest calling it a "beanie" as the vendor does. It is too generously sized to be a "beanie."Now I think I'll stop stressing about what to call it and just go wear it outdoors!

Warm, soft, does what it's intended to do. It keeps my head warm while commuting in these harsh Boston winters. I bought this because of the softer inner "fur" lining. It does stand a little tall on my head. I prefer the Skull cap fit to the taller beanie. This is a taller beanie. It's fine, I still wear it of course.

Perfect fit for my large head. Very thick and soft on the inside. It will keep your melon warm for sure! Made for VERY cold weather. Quality is outstanding. The logo on it might be a little offensive to somebody, so I cut it off. It says "Black Humor" for some reason.I also got the Tan one with the neck scarf for my wife...She has yet to use the scarf.

This hat is so nice and warm and fluffy, i had purchased for myself, but the wife has taken ownership. I tried on to see how it felt, and it is very warm the furry lining will keep your ears and head warm . The Neck fleece is also very warm and I have used in very cold days while waiting for the bus. It has kept me warm.

I really like the hat it's the right size it's thick and comfortable and warm . I'm glad I bought it and it didn't cost a lot.

This is a very nice hat nice and warm and feel comfortable but I haven't even put it in the washer yet and I've noticed is ripped the line in has suffered in the Hat and whoever stitched it did not do a good stitching on on it but for the price if you're not a soul it's worth buying to keep your head warm

Bought this for my husband, who has a really large head circumference! Actually, finding a cap that would fit wasn't trivial. Relatively few claimed to fit his circumference. But this fit just right, was well-made, looked good, and kept him warm as we explored glaciers in Alaska. Its lining gave it shape and substance, but it was not excessively thick or bulky. We were very happy with it.

This is a very warm beanie hat. I ordered it for my son in college, who was going skiing one weekend. We didn't get the set, just the hat. It's woven acrylic knit with a fleece liner, and it kept his head warm while looking stylish. My son is a big young man and it fit perfectly, covering his ears and forehead.

Besides the fact that I'm a white guy and it says "Black humor" on it, which makes me think people will look at me weird cause I'm paranoid, this hat is SUPER comfy! I am so glad I bought it, I have many other toques, as a proud Canadian, but this one, the insides are so yummy and feel nice on my head, and it keeps me nice and warm in cold weather, Canadian winter tested. I never write reviews, literally ever, this is my first, but I did it, out of the blue, not when I bought this, but months later, because I like it so very much =)

Nice hat although the tag In the pic clearly states Black Humor. When I received mine it says Novawo?

Slightly smaller than I thought it would be based on the other reviews saying it was slightly big I found it fit me and I'm a petite enough woman. So maybe the company is now making the hats less oversized? Love the hat though, really comfortable and the fleece lining is great. I also appreciate that they now have the "Novawo" logo on the hat. I had seen a lot of reviews saying "black humour" was on the front logo tag and I wasn't really sure why that was. Mine had the "Novawo" logo.
