Handmade ceramic tea pot with cane handle and cups with linear patterns. The set comes with 2 cups with contrast black handles, although only one cup had come out of the kiln at the time of photographing. The teapot body measures approximately 10 cm tall to the top of the lid, 16.5 to the top of the cane handle and 15.5 cm wide to the spout. It holds up to 500ml of liquid. The teacups are approximately 6 cm high and 5 cm at its widest, 10 cm including the handle and hold about 150 ml of liquid. The teapot and all its parts as well as the cups were thrown on the wheel and assembled by hand once leather hard. Semi transparent Nuka glaze was used on cream clay and matte black was hand-painted onto the cup handles. Although the set is dishwasher safe, hand wash is highly recommended considering the delicacy of the cane handle. Also microwave safe. This piece is hand made and therefore does not possess the uniformity of factory made items, variations occur in each one. However you may request one in a similar size and style.
