CLEAN MACHINE 10376914 Astroturf Dirt Trapper Doormat, 23.5" x 35.5", Daisy Urban Green

I’d been looking for a “grass with white daisy” doormat for years. They gave me a nostalgic warm fuzzy feeling. Here it is! I’ve bought three or four of these over the last few years, I love them. They are effective doormats, clean mud and grass off shoes very well. My true review is a 4.6- here’s why: Not so easy to clean- you can hose mud off, but grass, pine needles, hair, and feathers (I have chickens) tend to get a little stuck in the plastic grass blades. A seam ripper helps. Also- If it’s sitting in the sun all day, you’ll get about a year and a half to two years, which is about average for a decorative doormat. When it starts to break down throw it out immediately- the little plastic nubs will start to break off and stick to the bottom of your shoes and get everywhere.Even with those “cons”, I love this doormat, and will continue to buy it as long as they make it. It’s so cute and cheerful!

So stoked I found this, it’s got a classic kitschy charm, and it gets sand off of bare feet better than any other door mat. Easy to clean with a hose. I haven’t had any issues with slippage. Certain things can get kind of stuck in the rug like small seeds rocks and pine needles might take a little extra work to get out but sand and dirt rinses out easily. We get a lot of compliments on it.

this thing is PERFECT! we ordered it for a kitchy vintage vibe to have on the dock to step into our party barge pontoon. IT IS SO BEYOND PERFECT! it is so quality it’s insane, even though the delivery person rolled it up and put heavy things on top of it’s package…it STILL came out perfect & laid flat with nothing ruined! even the daisies! we plan on nailing it down to the dock, so only time will tell of it’s weather resistance and wear. but it is so large & perfect for our need! it is super strong astroturf, so it isn’t going to be the best for bare feet but it will hold up i’m sure!

Aside from the timeless mid-century aesthetic, these mats work better than most to clean your shoes - you know, their actual purpose. Highly recommended.

I grew up with one of these on the back porch and I just wanted that piece of nostalgia back. It’s great to get the dirt off your shoes and my animals think it’s there for them to roll around on. It’s a great product and I’m glad I found it!
