These work great and make it much easier to install things into a rack mount. However, you have to be very careful not to over-tighten them, because they will snap/break easily.

My go-to for racking equipment, no failures yet and an effortless install every time.

Awesome. Have a lot of overnight jobs that need to be completed quickly. This saves my thumb fingernails from uncooperative cage nuts, and are much better than tools. I can rack a switch in 30 seconds.Note: These (Duo) can only be used on 1U.

The quality is a little less than I expected and they fit a little looser than I expected when clipped in from the back. I had one bust while tightening for a shelf that connects front & back rails. Had to use cage nuts on back because the Rackstud sticks too far out the back and it interfered with the shelf support arm. The one that broke didn't give me confidence with using them to mount a switch. I don't think I would trust these with a UPS that doesn't also anchor to the back rails. These go in pretty easy and you can mount most items without needing a screwdriver. For the price, I'm not sure if I would bust fingers on cage nuts or buy these again.

My fingers are so happy these exist. So many times I have carved up my hands on installs. These really do go in easy.

These have made life so much easier. Popped into the slots, helps to hold the equipment in place before even screwing it in. Brilliant idea. Holds solid. Good quality.

These rackstud duo's are awesome, they are so much easier to work with than the original rackstuds and traditional cage nuts. Just pop them in from the back, put the device into the rack on them, then hand tighen the cap on. There's a couple or rack scenarios they don't work well for (i.e. mounting shelves) but for everything else I'd strongly recommend using these.

Et le fait que les vis soient là et dépasse ça aide énormément. Plus besoin de vous battre ou d'être 2 pour installer le matérielÉtape 3 : on vis l'esprit tranquille
