Filled my heart with positivity
I really Enjoyed Uncaged Wallflower. I loved that the poems were inspiring and thought provoking. She starts the book of with "Dear Reader""This is not a poetry book for you to read and relate to in a sorrow filled way.It is for you to read and say yes, I can be better, and I will.I wrote Uncaged Wildflower for those who feel trapped in the thoughts their minds produce, unable to express them with the rest of the world out of fear of critique or disagreement. For the people whom need an extra does of positivity in their day."I can't even begin to pick a favorite.Even though she says not to relate you do, I felt myself holding back tears for a few of these as well they spoke to me and filled me with positivity.I hope more people pick this book up! Simply for the fact that this book is written so beautifully. I hope you pick it up and relate to is as much as I did!

Broken into small and delicate doses of inspiration, Jennae Cecilia delivers reminders of hope and empowerment through uplifting
Reviewing poetry is something that I continue to struggle with greatly. After all, it is a very emotional and personal experience. How does one sum that up in a manner that others can comprehend to the point of feeling? It is practically impossible for myself, so my poetry reviews continue to remain relatively limited in length though they are not so in heart, I assure you.Uncaged Wallflower immediately presented itself in unique manner when compared to some of my recent encounters with poetry (I have been exploring of late). There were no outbursts of anger or sorrow that begged to be understood, heard or released. Instead there was a much simpler, and none the less powerful theme occurring within; Positivity."Surround yourself with people who don’t just ask how you are doing. Surround yourself with people who make an effort to make sure they are part of the reason you are doing so well."Broken into small and delicate doses of inspiration, Jennae Cecilia delivers reminders of hope and empowerment through uplifting words and wisdom. Lending a voice to those of us who often struggle with expression and our own fears of being heard or misunderstood, she offers promises of better things to come and the gentle reminder that we must live in the now."Because those are present moments and I need to exist there more."This is a beautiful collection that reads with magnificent ease and still manages to provide something profound. I could not have picked this book up at a better point in my life. While my time with the book with brief, my experience will be ongoing. Sometimes we just need to be able to step outside of our own head and be. Uncaged Wallflower makes the first steps into that journey feel incredibly possible.

I picked up this book because I like the cover
3.5 stars. I think the poem "Let Me Tell You That You're Beautiful" really captures the main intent of this book. I picked up this book because I like the cover. Lots of sweet motivational quotes. I'm not sure this is exactly a poetry book however? The poems are styled like poems, and a couple of them have hard rhyme schemes, but many of them seemed like the were prose pieces that had just been cut up and might have read better without the line breaks. I was tripped up by a few while reading that would have been easier read in prose form. Most of the pieces in the book read like motivational blogs or journal entries, which were really nice and uplifting, but the lack of poetic language in the majority of pieces and that many don't seem to be well served with the line breaks makes me think that poetry is not exactly the correct placement for this body of work.In terms of poetry, I enjoyed "Feelings" and "Villain" best.

No Matter the Feathers
This collection of poetry gets straight to the point of pushing through the rough times and highlights what is important and how it varies between each person and their experiences. It's a nice change of positivity. Some of the poems are unique enough to be seperated from the rest (in my opinion), so the ones that lack to me are made up by being in a collection; giving off a total feeling after reading it. I finished this pretty quickly, it only is 70 pages. But for a fairly cheap price, I appreciated going through a creative work that is nice to understand and afterwards feeling satisfied, thoughtful, and imaginative.

I Want to Know Why is the stand out poem in Uncaged Wallflower, a poetry collection by Jennae Cecelia.I like the letter that begins this book. It is nice to know where the author is coming from, and we share similar sentiments.I can definitely relate to poem Change, when author writes ‘Even as a child I would be frustrated when the store would move the aisle of supplies to a different location than before’These poems made me think, contemplate and reflect. If you need some motivation you can’t go wrong with this collection of inspiring poetry.
