Dr. Slick All Purpose Scissors

Good precision scissors.Definitely a marketing hyped product.If you don’t have a nice set, these are a good purchase.If you’ve already got a precision set for some other use like body grooming or sewing, just use them instead.I use these for tying small flies to catch fish.

They are beautifully made and a pleasure to use. I used them in making expensive wood ship models and to trim my mustache and they are still as sharp as new

Outstanding! My brother got me some Kevlar thread, and no pair of scissors I had in my house would cut it cleanly. When I got these, I was eager to try them out. These cut through the Kevlar like butter (not exaggerating).

Big finger holes for my larger hands, yet small footprint for intricate cutting. Best scissors I've owned. I use these for cutting copper foil in my stained glass work. Excellent purchase.

These sissors are excellent. Function as expected for making trout lures. Good choice for trimming wide range of materials used in building lures. Found other reviews most helpful in selecting thes scissors.

Not my first pair of Dr Slick scissors. I realize these scissors were designed for flying tying for fisherman. However, I use them as thread snipers with my embroidery machine and they are perfect!!!! With the curved it is very easy to get in the hoop and trim the threads. These scissors are very sharp with a small points perfect for trimming threads. Oh, and by the way they do work great for trimming when doing fly tying!

I like its sharpness and the curvature makes it easy to reach under and over a winding to snip thread ends. The cutting edges are not very long so its not practical use it for long cuts.

Perfect scissor for working with feathers where precise control is required. The micro-fine serrations grip and do not slide off the quill shanks. These are a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend to anyone who wants precision cuts when working with feathers (or fine thread).
