WoW! Amazing Results! With B4/After Blood Tests Pic
I consider myself a Health/Nutrition expert of sorts being a research Guru thoroughly investigating nutrition extensively. I went in for a physical in Nov. & my LDL, bad cholesterol, and triglycerides were through the roof! The HDL cholesterol should be 0-100 & mine was 180! The triglycerides should be between 35-150 and it was over 200!! They said try to make some exercise diet & nutrition changes & they would retest me in 3 months! There are many things out there that can lower your cholesterol but they tend to have a nominal or temporary impact. For my research there's only 3 major things that greatly affect your cholesterol & triglycerides. High quality krill oil @ 3.5 grams. This covers you're omega's. I had already been taking this for quite some time already. Co Q10 is another. I was taking 200mgs, twice daily. Then I discovered Red Yeast Rice extract! I was skeptical though & when I went back in February to be retested, I was 100% totally expecting to receive a bottle of statins in the mail! Nothing came, &in a few days I logged in to the VA eHealth Website... I was shocked beyond belief of what I saw!!! Before I continue, I must admit that I couldn't get myself to exercise for years & it took 2 months to transition from stopping getting frozen boxed meals that are totally waaaaay high in fat & cholesterol & cutting out soft drinks, junk food & eating out, to where I was eating salmon, chicken, oatmeal, nuts, etc. My cholesterol, which should be between 0-100, was 98! My triglycerides, which should be between 35-150 was 80!!! UNREAL!!! I know that this Red Yeast Rice played a MAJOR ROLE in this! Reseach it! I just can't believe nor understand how it lowered sooo much! There may be other products out there, and who knows maybe they're cheaper, but I'm not willing to risk getting an inferior product with subpar ingredients! I'm sticking with this for sure!!! This is the real deal! This is legitimate! I'll be taking this religiously from now on!

Great for cholesterol if you want to lower it
I purchased this twice so far but I purchased this on because it has a little bit more of a stronger essence of a supplement that I feel like works better once I get my blood work done then I'll know better if this pill works better than the last one did. No matter what supplement you take, you still have to abide by the rules , of watching what you eat because you're not taking the statins which are often prescribed by the doctor, for high cholesterol.... If you follow the rules, this is a great supplement to use instead of the statins which causes problems like joint pain and other problems along with taking them... My cholesterol is not so bad that I have to need the statins I can just take the supplements and watch what I eat. Even though I still eat some fatty things especially like cheese. If my cholesterol gets too high I just cut back...... In moderation. So until I find something better these work perfectly fine. So I will continue to take them.

Appears to work, but caused hair loss (just like a statin)
This seems to work like a statin. I did not have muscle pain like I did on a prescription I had, but I did have a lot of hair loss. When I stopped the supplement, the hair loss slowed and then stopped as well. I just wanted to let people know that hair loss is a possible side effect, just as it is with a prescribed statin.

It took a while but my cholesterol dropped 100 points
I had extensive open heart surgery in January of 2019. As you see from the chart, in September of that year my LDL was at 264 and both cardiologists I saw tried different statins all of which gave me severe cramps. Then after reading about all the ill effects of statins I decided to try a more natural approach. I started taking one clove of raw garlic everyday with my lunch and about five months later by early March 2020 the LDL had dropped 45 points to 219 which my cardiologist said was good but not enough. I then added this brand of Red Yeast Rice to my diet along with Ubiquinol CoQ10 while continuing to take the garlic. By the end of the year the LDL had dropped to 163 and my HDL was up some ten points. Yes, I know it took time but 'bad' cholesterol builds up very slowly and, I guess, also disappears slowly. However, here is the question. The LDL dropped 45 points BEFORE I started on the yeast capsules. So are the benefits from the raw garlic alone or a combination of the two? Since I do not have the answer I will continue both for another six months. Incidentally, I take the garlic with meals. It is fairly easy to swallow if you use a garlic press then wash it down with water. Not pleasant but beats the heck out of the statin cramps and other side effects. Considering this is not a 'prescription medication' on the days I simply feel like death itself would be preferable to swallowing any more garlic, I simply don't take it for a day or two or three. Also the only dairy I have is more often than not a piece of aged cheddar with an apple (not that nasty orange stuff sold in plastic bags that pretends to be cheese)

The color is different and the bottle was smashed up
The color is darker than the first bottle I got. I was concerned also because the bottle was all squashed up like someone stepped on it but the pills were fine. So I hope I'll be alright. I'm going to start out by taking just 1 pill to see if I have any issues. If I do I'll do an addendum on my review.

did kinda help a bit
it brought my cholesterol and all that crap down a bit, but not enough - my doc wasn't pleased, so now i'm having to take statins - which i did NOT want to have to take, but i have no choice. these things probably would have done a much better job if i ate better foods, but oh well. they're worth a try - it's great they have no "citrinin" - that stuff is dangerous - best to always check labels, and make sure it says right ON the label; "no citrinin". it's still gonna have 'some', but probably not as much as brands which don't state clearly and on the label itself that it doesn't have any. watch for that.
