Nice pole
BD present for grandson and he loved it, easy for him to use, all parts were with it, over all a nice fishing pole, wouldn't mind to have one myself. I love the purple color! Great price, works well to catch a fish, if they are biting, first time pole for him so he was excited.

Nice rod and reel
I've used this for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems with it. The reel is smooth and the rod sensitive, but strong. The line is an unexpected mess when you first start, but straightens out after you cast it a few times.DO THIS FIRST: Make sure you turn the switch at the bottom of the reel from right to left in order to lock it in place so it doesn't allow it to openly spinning in either direction and complicating the mess. This isn't indicated and I had a hard time with it until I found it and put it in the right direction. It made life so much easier after that.As for the people that buy this and then replace the line immediately, it does have kinks/coils and makes a mess if you're not careful with it. That said, you have to expect this to happen and I don't understand why you'd by a pre-spooled reel if you're simply going to replace it.

Zebco... reliable as usual!!
I bought this rod and reel combo and another to test out and use for my lighter weight lures. The other 40+ year old brand did not even compare to this Zebco! Perfect cast, every single time! Outstanding quality and this combo was cheaper than the other one that has many issues.

Meh
Only half the rod came, the letters of the reel were scuffed, and I ended up just buying an ugly stick. I read reviews about people only receiving half of the rod but didn't think much of it. Well, those reviews were proven right. The reel is pretty smooth though.

My favorite rod
I’ve caught the most bass with this rod Never gave me any issues or tangles and it’s lightweight and can hold up to 3-5 pound bass And cast very far No wonder they call it the slingshot also good price !

Handles well.
First day out hooked a 4lb. Channel Cat.Lots of fun, rod and reel performed just fine. I wasn't looking to spend much on a new rig (I don't fish as much as I should.)and this is a good deal.

Missing piece
I like it but the thing is i only got half of the product i dont ehat happend to the other piece but i was wondering what could amaxon do for me
